as an ms fan i'm delighted with the result,and it showed again why rubens is number 2 in the team as he was nowhere near michael again.a few mentions of webbers brake test and blocking of alonso as being something michael would do but i bet it wont warrant a thread of it's own purely cause it's not ms. i know the temperature cooled a bit for the racebut the last few races are regaby Mark - F1

i still have the full race on video and it's one race i watch more than most,firstly there was martin brundles very good grid walk which really set the race up superbly,refering to schumachers comment that he had three williams drivers around him as he considered damon to still be one of them and he was directly behind him.martin also produced both timesheets from the williams cars to proveby Mark - F1

the point of this post is michaels starts with supposed launch control,where are these miraculous starts that you all claim he has had that year,only 3 races he actually went past anyone at the start,1 race he was light on fuel and another mansell had a bad start and both ms and hill went past. so if their is supposed to be evidence that launch control was actually used can someone point to oneby Mark - F1

the amount of times michaels car has been claimed to be illegal on this forum is well known,true the fia did find launch control software but it had been disabled, benettons explanation was that it was easier to disable the software than remove it as they believed that it would corrupt other software programs on the car.the fia found that by flicking the gearshift paddles andpressing the throttleby Mark - F1

it's because it's ferrari and ms and that's about it,anyone else you don't care.i always thought jerez 97,and i make this clear i don't condone michaels actions they dissapoint me,but to have 2 teams williams and mclaren work together to fix a race result is far worse than anything ferrari have done. this was blatant race fixing allowing mika to win, and two teams colludby Mark - F1

all i have heard re ferrari is they have riuned the spirit of f1,i agree about austria being blatant race fixing,but what annoys me is the atitude if one driver can no longer win the championship then it's ok meaning that is acceptable team orders,each gp is individual and if i knew in the last few gp that if ralf was genuinly leading he would forfit his position to help montoya it is stillby Mark - F1

well that isn't true hakkinenf1 has gave an example,germany 2000 and i have gave austria 2000,michael was involved in both and the red flag came out in neither,so to say if michael was involved the red flag would come out is rubbishby Mark - F1

at the end of the day if they are going to call team orders one driver assisting the other it is still the same thing,so are you telling me that if ralf is winning or in front of montoya at the us gp for instance they would swap positions cause it sounds the same thing.by Mark - F1

i don't think it matters whether it's race 1 or 16 if you are against team orders then you can't suddenly decide that's it's ok cause montoya has a chance of winning the championship. you either agree with them or you don't,and i seriously can't see ralf helping montoya out with he doesn't get along with,he'd rather his brother win than help montoya sby Mark - F1

of course mclaren are always disadvantaged,austria 2000 first corner incident michael is out and no restart and mclaren get a 1-2 finish.if it is biased towards ms and ferrari then there would of been a restart,sounds like mclaren were disadvantaged doesn't it. it's not because a particular driver is out it depends on the incident not wether it favours msby Mark - F1

i'll say it again,the benetton was not found on any occasion to be running traction control and certainly wasn't the best car in 94,it was still a v8 while the williams was using a renault v10. all we here about 94 is traction control and cheating,try giving him some credit for his victories that year,for all the rumours re launch control he certainly had some crap starts that year. youby Mark - F1

strangely it was driver agreement in australia 98,dc didn't look happy as if it was something he agreed to,but then again he's let damon hill through a few times when at williams so it won't be alien to him. wonder if jerez 97 was driver agreement as well,must be as mclaren don't have team orders. i think jordan had team orders spa 98 when ralf wasn't allowed to pass damby Mark - F1

hungary 97 was about the tyres not the car or the driver,yes he might of passed ms but ms didn't have the best car,he was also ahead of the williams and mclarens,so it's not a case of he passed ms he was ahead of everyone.by Mark - F1

the fact that 97 went down to the last race does suggest that ms can beat him in an inferior car let alone the same one.although he was world champion considering the car he had he certainly made hard work of it. how he must wish he stayed at williams rather than thinking of the money and going to bar.by Mark - F1

brazil 2002, how this was michaels fault is beyond me,he didn't take montoyas wing off he done that himself,he lost the lead at the first corner and tried to gain it back straight away,ms is allowed to move once and thats all he did. macau,again mikas fault pure and simple,i've seen the incident numerous times even before i was an ms fan and i never thought it was his fault. just beby Mark - F1

you can blame the spectator for costing mika the win,but he never told mika to pit for wets,it was rubens ability in mixed conditions that won him the race not the spectator,if mika had confidence in his ability he would not of pitted stayed out and still won the race,the idiot who ran on the track wasn't the deciding factor,if mika had stayed out he still would of won.by Mark - F1

i think michaels first two full seasons in f1 were pretty good,considering the benetton ford was hardly the class of the field and he did have the established drivers to race against,prost,senna,mansell,patrese and berger etc. 1992-he never qualified outside the top 6 and had eight podiums,to sugest his win in spa was luck proves your bias.he had one accident with senna in france,spun into retireby Mark - F1

as far as i can see,and looking at the pic alonso at no point is alongside or in front of ms so i can't see what the problem is, he is allowed to move to defend his position and thats what he has done. ms is ahead and can chose his line,i'd be more dissapointed if he'd just let him through without defending his position,he didnt put his car where alonsos was cause at no point was aby Mark - F1
