It was 2003 I think. Raikkonen made an error and slid off in the first corner.

Made an error in Friday Qualifying - the reason he started from the back.

It was saturday qualifying, but saturday was dry. Friday was wet and Raikkonen got 6th. Speaking of which, Bridgestone hardly dominated that session. Each tyre company had 5 cars in the top and bottom halves of the field so it was pretty even.

did anybody find the Mclaren's pit radio funny,i mean after the race finished.
De La rosa was like (GR8 JOB,THIS IS FOR YOU,NEXT TIME,NEXT TIME WE WIN)
and the answer came with a silly voice (Ok Pedro, the order button, your self)
felt like (whatever)
then Ron dennis's voice came and said (good job pervert,pp..perdo,nice,calm overtaking)i couldn't stop laughing.

Hmmm. I don't know. From 7th to the lead is I think more impressive then from 15th to 7th or something. It is one place more, but he only overtook crappy cars ;)

No, as Nick pointed out Alonso overtook crap cars plus the Reanult car is the fastest car off the line these days.

but still he had to keep his nose clean and did overtake many cars in bad conditions, without touching anyone.

i'm not saying i think it is as good as or better than Senna's lap, just something to discuss.

I agree with Muks, he could have easily thrown it off the road if he was careless. I thought MS had Alonso rattled but his performance in Hungary proved me wrong, this lap was probably one of the best opening laps ever, especially given that he didn't get as good a start as he would have wished.

also notice half way down the straight where DC starts to wander to the left, making Alonso go on the grass slightly.

if DC hadn't done that, FA wold have been right behind MS and would have been up to 6th or 7th by the 2nd corner. he then overtook DC at the righthander before the chicane round the outside like he did to MS later on.
