erm, because what piquet may have done would be about 1000 times more dangerous than just moving over.
what would have happend if he'd screwed it up and ended up being collected by another car?
not to mention that the crash resulted in marshals having to come onto the track to assist. what if something had happened to one of them?
motor racing is dangerous enough without people pulling stunts like this. (which is the main reason i'm still finding it hard to believe that these allegations are true)
