"Yeah...thats the real reason I kept crashing!"

If the situation doesn't arise then you don't trigger the accident, so no.

And yes, the FIA can investigate over what a TV station says. Afterall the BBC videos of the McLaren interviews at the Australian GP were what proved Lewis was liar.

FIA has started to investigate:

1) michael schumacher deliberate hit in damon hill (1994);
2) suspected of traction control in benetton (1994) and other dirty tricks;
3) ferrari orders to barrichello to reverse positions with michael (ALWAYS HIM) in austria;

there are other similar cases of this (renault 2008)... there is a lot of dirt and manipulating results to favor X, Y and/or Z in the formula 1 world

So does this mean Alonso is Michael Schumacher in disguise? ;)

hahahahahahaha!!

edit, so therefore Alonso is the stig!!!!

Also, it makes sense, Schumacher was meant to race in Valencia. But hold on Renault won the appeal so Alonso was forced to race for Renault. Makes perfect sense!

They will probably listen to the radio and see if anything was said.

Maybe team did sent sms or used some oldskool ways instead of too visible radio messages? ;)

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

With Piquet being so prone to crashing before Singapore, Renault may have just used him in a slightly different way to what the reports are suggesting...

If you just told him to push the limit of the car, then odds are that he would just lose it somewhere. If he did, then it fits nicely for Alonso. If he didn't, he got more out of the car. Win-Win situation really.

This would also support the notion that Piquet gave the tip-off, feeling he was being used to bend the rules to Renaults advantage.

Just an idea. Probably not a very good one, but still.

Well he could have been told crash after Alonso pits if you want a drive next year.

But even so, as Bernie said about the issue; "If I tell you to go and rob a bank and you get caught, you can't say, 'Bernie told me to'"

It says something about you as a race driver when your only talent is for crashing on command. This is ridiculous imo, but highly entertaining.

Piquet is such a pussy, he shouldn't that. Other teams have a high chance that his super license might be rejected by fia

I looked at the crash last night and I just dont see how that was done on purpose.

The FIA are not just looking at that though they are looking at other things.

I dont expect much to happen anyway, after all they got away with copying stuff from Mclaren.

From what I remember, he seemed to have hit a bump. Could it be that he drove over it on purpose, while normally, you'd never do it?

Would be difficult to prove. If it was a driver who was more precise and drove with less errors, then MAYBE, but Piquet hadn't exactly fitted that mould, so it'll be hard to prove that it was deliberate.

Apparently Massa and some of the other drivers were suspicious at the time;

It could be just the Brazilian press trying to divert the rumours that Piquet was the source of the investigation though.

Massa was piquet's country men, what else massa could do? ofcourse going to join and to protect his immature country men(piquet jr). i believe fia should redo and check piquet's telementry

He crashed on an acceleration point... Simply too much juice. Easy to perform and make it look like it was an accident...

heres more evidence... clearly a practice run ;)
