i thought HRT always said they would start the season with a modified version of last years car?by marwood82 - F1
RBR seem to have the single lap pace. I think that race pace is going to be more important this year than it has been recently. (due to tires and hopefully, the movable wings) one thing that i am wondering though is, Mclaren clearly had the best KERS system 2009. but do they still have the edge with it in 2011? clearly there will be less of a difference due to all the top teams using KERSby marwood82 - F1
i'd be very surprised if it could be moved somewhere else at this kind of short notice. the issues with ticket sales, hotels and travel for fans, teams and media etc would be huge also as john booth pointed out to the bbc. a load of the kit needed to run the cars for a race weekend is already on its way there ahead of the pre season test. you can't just magic it all somewhere elby marwood82 - F1

no problem. i had a look through my shots from walking up eau rouge after the race(another reason to go to spa, the let you on the track afterwards!) and i'm thinking the view is a bit better than that first shot. i found this online, which looks like its taken from gold 3.by marwood82 - F1

i'm going to the nurburgring this year, we've got grandstand tickets at the dunlop curve as the general entry tickets didn't look good value at all. i thought the grandstand tickets weren't that expensive (when compared to other venues) but i bought ours a few months ago so i'd check formula1.com for the prices atm silverstone general entry is very good in terms ofby marwood82 - F1

Heresy! i find friday's often the best day. theres less people about so theres no need to rush to the good spots, you can take the time to walk around the perimeter of the circuit and the cars are on track more than tby marwood82 - F1
with regards where to stay, i'd factor in what sort of ticket you're getting. if its a grandstand seat then you can turn up pretty much when you want otherwise you might want somewhere closer to the circuit as the premium spots go quite early on race day. as far as hotels are concerned theres that much really close by, and what there is tends to go pretty quickly (though i guess itsby marwood82 - F1

to be honest i doubt the WMSC hearing is going to be that fussed about the incident itself. i reckon they view the $100,000 fine as covering that. its the way it was done and the way ferrari handled the fall out from it with the cringe worthy attempts at covering it up resulting the current media circus that will be viewed as damaging the image of the sport. they've got to be careful,by marwood82 - F1

but looking at next years tickets it would appear the terracing is going and its just going to be turn up and sit down general entry. on their website they don't seem to be offering tickets for any of the terraces. and the map, shows general entry all the way round from copse to vale. to be honest it wouldn't surprise me as the with the changes to the track the luffield terrace isby marwood82 - F1
@jim, i understand what you mean about general entry, but looking at the map for next years race, it does look like they've improving it. silverstone 2011 clearly, club is now going to be mainly premium grandstands as its the final corner but the general entry is going to run from copse right the way round to vale, right round luffield and a bit on the wellington straight. thby marwood82 - F1
