Renault are likely to come out with a package that's more well-rounded and driveable, focusing less on sheer power. That's how they've always been before anyway.by EC83 - F1
Renault could well actually be in better shape than they seem to be in at the moment. They're likely to make a step forward naturally over the winter, with Alonso's input into the team. And they've got a strong platform to build on. In the last four races of 2008 Alonso finished 1st, 1st, 4th and 2nd - pretty strong form by any reckoning.by EC83 - F1

Apparently an official Honda statement is imminent: Good that Bruno Senna looks to be getting a chance, but a great shame Rubens isn't being paired with him. It would've been a great combination of youth and experience, and Rubens is actually a stronger driver than JB in my view, despite being the age he is.by EC83 - F1
Interesting that Renault are the only team so far to keep using the full anvil wingby EC83 - F1
Awesome ad! How it can be misinterpreted as insulting to women I don't understand. If anything it should be seen as showing the power of women, making the guys lose their cool simply by walking past. The complainants are probably all hardcore feminists. Nanny State Syndrome strikes againby EC83 - Off-Topic
Whoa... Imagine if that happened there during the GPby EC83 - F1
chet Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Josh Hill ! > > 3rd Generation! Imagine that in F1! Oh yeah, forgot about Josh Hill. That would be kinda cool. And if he's moving up to FFord this year then he's moving in the right direction He could be an F1 driver at a younger age than either Graham or Damon(which wouldn't be hard)by EC83 - F1
The rear wings are all huuuuge... like the ones some teams ran at high downforce tracks in the mid-late 80s. Loving the swoopy shape of the cars too - lack of winglets makes a big differenceby EC83 - F1
Guimengo Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Newey hasn't given up that thin nose, he's just so > determined to see it work unlike in the MP4-18/19 > :p That could give it an aerodynamic advantage over the others, which all seem to have chubby noses. The aero on the whole car looks pretty innovative.by EC83 - F1

All we have > seen from Webber is how to lose a good finish. Agreed. Webber needs to stop underachieving this year. It'll be especially difficult for him because Vettel will be the strongest team mate he's had. Webberby EC83 - F1
WOOOOHOO!! Volvo were always my favourite BTCC manufacturer - especially when they ran the 850s. Hope Rickard Rydell is involved with the project in some way. Him and Jason Plato would be my dream driver pairing! Bring it on!!by EC83 - Other Motorsports
Bruno Senna, Romain Grosjean, Vitaly Petrov and Brendon Hartley. Also, it might be a few years down the road yet, but Esteban Gutierrez is looking very promising. Pretty accurate thread this one, looking at the earlier posts. Especially all posts except one about Lewis.by EC83 - F1
It'll be a shame if we do lose Turkey, as you say it always seems to be the crappiest circuits that get priority. It's not guaranteed yet by any means though.by EC83 - F1
Happy birthday Guimengo, hope it's been a great un!by EC83 - Off-Topic
That '91 race really was mental. 1970s levels of disorganisation and chaos! Different era of F1 altogether.by EC83 - F1

So Ferrari will probably be required to make another radical change in their livery, from the cherry red back to a brighter red(like we saw in 1997-2006)by EC83 - F1
Force India would've had an older spec, I'd imagine.by EC83 - F1

Hehe! Imagine if Bernie's request gets turned down - he'll probably throw a tantrum like a little kid... He's short enough to get away with it after allby EC83 - F1

In many ways, Berger's done all he needed to do. Whatever happens with Toro Rosso now, he'll be remembered for turning a garbage team into a winning one, almost overnight.by EC83 - F1
Honda's worst livery was easily their 2007 one, the concept behind it was not too bad but the livery was horrendous. The car actually looked more like a radioactive seagull poop than a globe. Its looks were reflected by its performances.by EC83 - F1
