With or without Bourdais?/Just in: Berger sells his share of Toro Rosso!

Posted by BAR#10
Bourdais deserves another chance, just remember his qualy in Monza, he qualified 4th, with no experience in rain (in Champ Cars the races are only ran when its sunny, they donĀ“t run in rainy conditions)

I remember him parked in Le Mans in the rain waiting for the Audi to come by to cross the line so the Peugeot wouldn't risk going off
Sure you would remember, it reminded you of your entire sim racing career, Gui.

/if you throw cheaps shots, expect some thrown back;)
//it's a joke, take it easy,no tone in this:-)

GPGSL career;
Current team: Team ShadowSubaru, Previous teams: MPR, Minardi
starts:100 Wins: 12, Podiums: 34, Fastest Laps: 14, poles: 12 Points: 708
winner of Belgian GP (s1), Australian GP (s1), Canadian GP (S1), Brazilian GP(s4, s5), Hungarian GP(s3), Italian GP(s3), French GP (s5,s7), Monaco GP (s4) and USA GP
If Bourdais wanted to emulate me, he'd have to cross the line in a barril roll that would make C. Fittipaldi jealous ;)

ps: don't worry about jokes :P
Bourdais did that 'cause his engine was going to die ;)

Berger is no longer part of the team he has sold his 50% back, thats a shame I thought he done a great job.

Think Bourdais deserves a chance, he drove well this year and just had quite a bit of bad luck. Sato was shipped out to SA because he's Japanese, not for his driving ability.

On the sale of Berger's 50%, Mateschitz says its because STR will be easier to sell if one person owns 100% of the team. Expect Mateschitz to be actively trying to sell the team throughout 2009, wonder if Prodrive are still interested?

when is 09 toro rosso seats will be confirm?

pity for berger, hopefully he gets involved with another team. someone like force india could do with someone like him, but i dont know if he will have any motivation to go there

Berger is still working with STR this year.

Mateschitz himself. Berger won't own half the team but will still perform a similar role, it's not hard to work out :p.

"Yes, I will be out of STR, but the split with STR and Dietrich is completely amicable and there was no rift between us."

Berger says STR will lose ground, no mention of still working with the team in Autosport's article

Berger has said himself that he is not working for them anymore.
In many ways, Berger's done all he needed to do. Whatever happens with Toro Rosso now, he'll be remembered for turning a garbage team into a winning one, almost overnight.

Wasnt it something more to do with the Adrian Newey designed chassis & the Ferrari engine ;)

LS's Tip of the week
ESSENTIAL OILS aren't essential unless you're an engine, a gearbox or a twat
And that German bloke that was driving the car?

@#$%& bourdais off. He is worthless.
