Aha wow thanks, that 1984 season set is great! I think I made the AI on Ace level super-racey. Spent a silly number of hours playing with the Perf and magic data. Great to see people are still enjoyiong it I can't play GP32k now on Win 10 because of PO issues, so now get my speed fix with Trackmania! I really should buy a cheap Win 7 PC just for the old days. Absolutely adored 2k like noby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3

Exactly, you are not seeing the trackmap because it is beyond your screen size. So change the 1500 to something lower, maybe 1000by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 4
Not instructions, but you could always generate a file that allows you to compare the original GP4.exe with the decrypted.exe: - Windows Key + R to get run menu, type cmd and hit enter - Go to the directory with your executables, e.g.: cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Infogrames/Grand Prix 4" - Type (without the quotes) "fc /b GP4.exe GP4Derypted.exe > mypatch.patch" ...theby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 4

Driver1 is Piercarlo Ghinsani, Driver2 is Allen Berg I suppose, although it isn't the correct helmet he used that season.by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Thanks to kedy89 for uploading all of the sets. I will go through and replace the links in this threadby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Does anyone have these that they can upload or mail me? Would be gretaly appreciated thanks.by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
There were plans a few years ago to build a track at Albox which is somewhere in the Murcia region. Not sure if this ever happened.by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3

Bump Been playing around a bit with md and discovered the value: desc48=fuel??? seems to be something like fuel density. Increase the value and the car weight increases with the same amount of fuel, and also the fuel burns slower. Theoretically you can therefore increase the fuel penalty and slow cars with heavier fuel loads. Of course it is necessary to also increase the fuel consumptiby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
There is a value in the magic data called CC Shuffler. The lower this number is set the faster the cars will go as the fuel reduces. For example, I used Kyalami old layout and set CC Shuffler=0. First lap time was 1:06.0xx for the fastest car. Before the only pit stop on lap 40 the same car did a lap of 1:04.6xx. Setting the CC Shuffle=3300 gave lap times with little variation from start to pby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Fine job. Do you still have the dats with GP3-2000 magic data inserted that you could upload? That would be a great help for me. Thanks. EDIT - never mind, I see you have included the md2 files anyway so it isn't as tedious a job as I expected it to be.by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
From memory I started by setting the fastest driver qualifying performance to 16384 (Prost) and the most powerful engine bhp to 810 (Brabham-BMW), then used excel to calculate the other values based on actual qualifying times over the season and actual top speeds (from Monza or Hockenheim, can't remember now). Race performance values work on the same principle, but its a bit more arbitrary wby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Clearly a performance file issue, you need to increase his race performance value. Some time ago I uploaded a full 1984 season set for use with GP3-2000. Perhaps you might like to try this performance file instead... Of course much depends on which teams you have included in your season and the team order, so you may need to make some adjustments. Btw, the full season set is available fromby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
About the Phoenix race, when you have a Dallara, a Minardi and a Tyrrell qualifying ahead of Senna, and Grouillard in an Osella less than 1/10s behind Prost in a Ferrari you really know that something was happening with those Pirelli tyres. In all my years of watching motorsport I don't think I have ever seen such an odd looking grid.by St.Hubbins - F1

Been keeping a little spreadsheet up to date for the past few races. Screenshot below. Not much changes regardless of what points system might have been used. In ever case Vettel wins the title. Hamilton and Petrov are the only notable losers, falling behind Webber and Kobayashi respectively on most occasions. De la Roasa would have finished ahead of Buemi on last season's points system, othby St.Hubbins - F1

helmetsd.jam and helmetse.jam There should be one of each in both the JamsH/Liveries and Jams/Liveries folders. GPxPatch doesn't have an option to directly locate helmets so you may need to crosscheck inside the season.set file that you are pointing in the correct location. For example, in the 1987 carset I converted the *.set file will read as follows: jam01=1987\Helmetsd.jam jam02by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
