can someone please explain to me, how did senna set the fastest lap of that race on the very last laps, WITHOUT CHANGING TYRES the whole race ?!?!!? And both the williamses, the mclaren and the ferraris have pitted at least once.

... the reason for Senna win, was as follows, for the lotus to have the active suspension working, it did save and much the tires, and the unhappiness of Piquet, who had a hole in a first lap that saw him go, last, and made a great recovery, finishing in 2nd, if this were not bad luck for Nelson, Senna never win, so it was very briefly the race, detroit ...:(
