Thanks it is work better now but still crashing in the middle while loading tracks. Was able to do calibration test, and got to the screen where cars were on track, but trying to start a practice, it just crash while loading. Here is the crashlog link: Update: I think it may be a bad car, it starts up fine when I do a Free Practice, with no cars, so I should be able to isolateby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Unfortunately I can't get the game to start to get to the calibration screen. gap177 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Did you re-calibrate the graphics after installing > the new video card? > > Glenn (Cdn) KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Window 7 64 Use to work about a year ago, only updated video card drivers since then now not working If anything jumps at in the below file let me know, otherwise, I'll probably start from scratch and install latest CSM Pastebin link: KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
This is good info as well. But if Tom is correct (higher value=softer) you might be running hard tires when you want soft. Thaks again KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Great work! I'm bookmarking this page. I understand slower lap times on the hard compound, but any data on how much farther the A.I. can go on the hard compound before lap times drop off compared to soft? Thanks again for you work! KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I don't think you can, but what is wrong with the setting/saving it in the game? KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Try loading the below .con file, it is for the Logitech Driving Force GT, it might work on the Wingman. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
In the Logitech software, go to Global Device Setting, and make sure Report Combined Pedals is selected. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Try running Easywad as an Administrator. In this case, right click on the Easywad file, and use the checkbox to run as Admin. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4

Same here, but it turned out to be a registry error I believe. I discovered this by creating a new user under Win 7, and it ran there. I downloaded CCleaner, ran it under my old profile, and it start working again. I can't remember if I uninstalled Team Editor first, then ran CCleaner, or just ran CClearner without uninstalling first. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I believe some of the settings are in the magic data. I use TSM to view this for each track. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
This might get you started, but it is for the Logitech Driving Force wheel. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I don't think ZaZ tools have a help file, but the forum below can provide some help. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Try editing the Ability in the performance file, sounds like you are editing Horsepower. Top speed isn't what you will notice, if you increase the Ability, the lap times will drop for a given driver. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Try this link, it should get you started. It is from 2010, but applicable for 2011 and beyond. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Get a wheel w/pedals, and you should be ecstatic. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Can you try another version of the ATI drivers? Maybe an earlier version? KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
What video card are you using? Did you try changing video card drivers? What are your system specs? Can you post a screen shot so we can see what you are seeing? KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
For the white cars, you may have to go into graphics options|Advanced, and cycle between Automatic and Manual setting, then see if the white cars now have color. As for the wheel, I have the same Logitech Driving Force as you do, here is my .con file. Just put the file in your GP4 directory, start game, go to Controls|Advanced then choose Load Control Set, locate the file, clickby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Been playing since 2004 and didn't know that. Thanks much! KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Hard freezes are almost always caused by hardware, or overheating. Try opening up your case for ventilation, update sound and video card drivers if that doesn't work. Don't forget to check Windows Event Viewer to see what was going on (on your system) when the freeze occurred. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Anyone seen a track for the above subject? KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
And of course run the program as Administrator. The only way I got CSM to work in Win 7 64 was to copy my entire GP4 w/CSM from an XP installation. To get the entries in the registry, I had to install GP4/CSM on Win 7, then deleted all the folders and copied/paste from the XP installation. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Try uninstalling TeamEditor then deleting keys from registry, then reinstall, see here: KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
I finished a race a couple days ago, at the end I saved the game. Now, days later, I can still load the game and the replay starts from beginning of the race, at the start line. Which is good, but that has to be a pretty large file size, so where is it being stored? KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
Your first three lines in the .cfg should look like this. 0 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0) 1920 ; Game 3D Horizontal Resolution 1080 ; Game 3D Vertical Resolution Then in the game, set the resolution to 640 x 480, when you get to the cockpit it should then be already set as 1920 x 1080. Hope this makes sense. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4

Either way, you have to eliminate the track a possible cause of the failure. Your choice on how to do that. KJby noncon - Grand Prix 4
