This year the difference between the soft and hard compound will ve made clear with a green line. A Bridgestone engineer: ''This week the colour doesn't yet have a meaning for the tyres, they're both on the hard as well as on the soft compound. We're willing to see on which tyre the line stays visible most.''

''We're testing with a coloured line on the side of the tyre, another option is to colour the entire side. In any case it's certain this year the colour will be green, that's been decided.''

I don't really like the green, I'd rather have white.

Wonder if its the gearbox again? It was the gearbox oil temp first time around I think and then a faulty sensor yesterday. But its better to get these problems out of the way now.

Because it's too labour intensive to do that, especially as it takes someone at bridgestone 30 seconds to hold a green paint pen to the wheel whilst it's rotated being balanced.... done.

Someone please ban these wide mirrors... ffs.

I still don't understand what was wrong with the coloured sidewalls á la CART - i read last year that they didn't have the equipment in their F1 factory, but surely that's an easy fix?

I am rather confussed what is allowed and what is not tbh. I though the front wing extra wings were banned, i also thought the bardge boards and them things a few teams have were banned.
