i think he is referring to the livery in particular. the two cars will be very hard to distinguish at some angles.

That's the point SchueyFan. Since 2007, RBR and STR have the "same" chassis. But this year will be difficult to know which car it is. I was talking about the livery, not the chassis ;-)

Its easy to differentiate! The RBR car as the logo on the engine cover and the STR has the bull! :-)

Clever by Red Bull to make them very similar, now that STR can be considered a force in F1 they will potentially have 4 near identical cars in the top 10, making it a fantastic advertisement for the company!

I know what you mean about the lack of variety
colours. It seemed in the past that there was the
red team, the blue team, the white team, the
yellow team, the orange team... Not to mention
that it looked much much better, of course.

Compare these two pictures - 2002 and 2007. In the
first one, every team is a different colour and
unique. Then you get to the second one. Oh
dear...

I'd have to agree with that too, Frantic and Flat Tyre.

Well to be fair, you can't go from driver suits. Yes we don't have a car that is green, yellow, or a stunning mix of orange and black but it's not as bland as the suits make it seem (even though I definitely agree with the point about car colors).

Although they look pretty similar, I don't think it'll be that difficult. Compare them - the Toro Rosso is dark all over, whereas the Red Bull has quite a lot of bright colours.

yeah once you see them on track they look different. i love the toro rosso. moody and dark. like a dark horse.

how cool would it be if they would be a force to be reckoned with this year? i wish vettel had stayed. it was humbling.

from far it still may be as confusing as Force India and McLaren I think, but either way dark/navy blue is my favorite color and I am quite well served !

And it is currently legal.

Well on the outside anyways. Wasn't sure if you were referring to just the body or the chassis and drivetrain itself too.

of course they are easy to tell apart up close, but from far away, it might be harder - like mclaren and force india last year as gui mentioned.

it would have been nice if they could have at least kept the same rear wing design as last year with 'Gives You Wings' but no bull, as that would have distinguished them more from the front.

And by having two identical cars means less time developing the game :)

for that reason it would have been nice, not to have BrawnGP on the grid :D
or any other car for that matter

I imagine STR will focus alot more on their own developments rather than getting them of RBR a few races later. STR will be designing their own car for '10 dont forget.

The nose is the obvious one to distinguish them, the RB is yellow, TR is gold. But from a distance they will be very hard to tell apart!

I think I'll rely on looking at the airbox. Toro Rosso is navy, Red Bull is yellow.
