Renault's new nose is illegal apparently.

Article 3.11.2 states: With the exception of brake cooling air ducts, in side view, there must be no bodywork in the area formed by two vertical lines, one 325mm behind the front wheel centre line, one 450mm ahead of the front wheel centre line, one diagonal line intersecting the vertical lines at 100mm and 200mm above the reference plane respectively, and one horizontal line on the reference plane.

tbh pace and legality is the last of Renaults worrys.

They have had no decent running, and very little laps, and that is what is frustrating!

Also, i read about the nose, I am not sure, why would they bother paint in if its illegal? And what is it's purpose? All seems abit 'nowhere' for Renault atm!

Force India are going to launch their 2009 car at Jerez on Sunday. This will be the last new car (unless you count Toro Rosso).

Wont toro Rosso just be a replica of the red bull just in different colours, like last year?

And I'm slightly confused... looking at the high res pics... I can't decide if that is a FW30B with the latest aero 2009 package... or a FW31 with changed side pods.

Personally, I love it. The all navy livery made the car look like a backmarker, this one is seriously bringing me back to the Rothmans liveries and the early 00ies HP liveries. Best livery yet, I think.

If you see that strange wings at sides of the cockpit and the air intake it seems to be a little person. wings are arms and air intake is the head lol

They look like ''bunny ears'' to me

I quite like it, would have been better if the blue was darker.

lmao @ the bunny ears!! didn't take long for the stupid ugly wing to make a comeback did it!?!! not too keen on that shade of blue :|
