@Paul are you talking about helmet visors for use on the helmet graphics that are included in your carsets? What we're discussing are the overlays for us as part of GPxCinfo. Thanks for the latest Cart carset btw.

Grand Prix 3 1. Open one of the original visors
2. Cut and paste your Design over the top
3. Merge layers
4. Save file
You don't need to open or try to edit the alpha, I think this is maybe where you're going wrong. Hope this helps!

Grand Prix 3 Glad you like them but I can't take full credit as EnzoJZ made them originally for GP4 and I just ported them for use in GP3. The transparency effect is set by the alpha channel in the .tga file so to answer your question it's set in a decent graphics app. such as Photoshop or PaintShop Pro. If you have either of these programs you should be able to cut and paste your design over the or

Off-Topic Have you tried contacting Laurent over on the GP4 forum? He's the guy making the 3D/Track Editor over there and a good guy to boot! - maybe he can help. Would really hate to see this fantastic project come to a premature end!

Grand Prix 3 I'm using the 66.93 drivers with a Ti4400 with Windows XP Home Edition and the problem is still there - have you tried an earlier DirectX? I'm running v9.0c. The drivers you suggested for optimum speeed with your tracks(29.xx?) were not fully DX9 compatible. I only know this because some Netkar tracks wouldn't display properly with them.

Grand Prix 3 Icon Developer from Stardock is pretty good although the free version is limited to a maximum icon size of 96x96.

Off-Topic You still need to use GPxPatch. The only team the stock game allows two separate liveries for is McLaren. Try downloading one of the GP3-2000 season sets to see how it's achieved through GPxPatch. It's quite straight forward, with all editing done through the GPxSet option of GPxPatch.

Grand Prix 3 No duff - site appears to be dropping a trojan into start-up folder called Windows Update.hta and appears after page has loaded into browser. The following then seems to load: internationalstatscounter.info/fast/it/index.php. Norton doesn't seem to pick it up yet, but Sophos has some info on this on their site. If anyone has any contact with the staff there could you let them know. In the mea

Grand Prix 3 Tested them on 4 tracks no problem. Some tips: Ensure you have the .ini files in the same folder as the .tga files and you haven't renamed the .tga files(ie GPxCinfo is only displaying the dark transparency overlay and not the map image) .Only other thing I can think is you've edited the .tga and the alpha channels have been knackered somehow.Hope this helps!

Grand Prix 3 @Made in Brazil. If you read the other thread in relation to this idea you will see that this guy is actually from Birmingham so another version of this track could be a good idea. Look at what Larry O'Meara achieved living by the Montreal track! This is in no way meant to detract from Rob's fine representation of the track and i agree that 'flawed' is maybe a bad choice of wo

Grand Prix 3 Although in GP4 section, they're fully compatible with GP3.The .ini file supplied is for 2004 order but all 18 tracks are supported so you may need to do some editing as my GP3 is not in default order.

Grand Prix 3 Yup Quickslick you're right!Haven't decided whether to do a set this year yet.
f1grandprix - why don't you download my 2004 set then you can see exactly how the .tga's are made up - the later season maps are the same style as was used in Melbourne. I've no objection to you cutting and pasting items as you see fit if you want to have a go at creating these yourself. Good

Grand Prix 3 Yes, genjams are all in correct place, even opened track in TE to confirm. don't think it's a gfx card issue as I've just upgraded from GeForce 2 GTS to GeForce 4 TI4400 using different drivers, same prob. Not a v1.13 issue?
