Are there any good all-in-one editors for GP3-2000? Like GP3-Master for GP3 1.13? I used to use carset creator, but my PC has decided that it doesn't like it anymore and won't run it properlyby harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Eagle-In my experience, XP hates anything that is remotely useful, or good. The only thing I have seen installed without a hitch was Office!!by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
In options, go to Graphics and click the advanced tab. Select manual, then you can tinker with all of the textures, and so on. You'll probably find a setting that works. I had to do this.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
I dunno-works OK for me! Maybe I just struck lucky!by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
I've just installed a new Radeon 9200, and it worked fine (after making me reinstall windows for the third time in 3 days) Dunno, what's up with yours. Which version of GP3 are you running?by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
I'll have to test it, I've just got a new card today. My old one probably did support transparency 'cos when I put some new cars in GP3-2000, they were completely transparent, with only the wheels and helmet showing!!! Managed to fix it though. See above.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Now the proud owner of a Sapphire Radeon 9200SE for 39.95! Plays GP3 in Harware mode with a casual arrogance (PO about 70%) THanks to all who helped. I'll probably be putting my own little GP3 site on the net soon.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Could you use a dodgy colour to get the 2004 Williams, thus making the top of the nose transparent instead of black?by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
I reckon I'm like Gilles Villeneuve, always pushing the car, even with 3 wheels and no wings, which quite often happens...by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
I've just remembered, they DO work in GP3 1.13, but only in Hardware mode.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
THe game's probably overloading the card, thus causing a crash. Simple solution, don't let the game caliberate graphics, do it yourself! You can tinker with loads of options and get the game to just caliberate certain resolutions. Hope this helps.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Nearly all the ones I've had have been better than originals. Try any tracks by Belini, they seem to be very good, although I don't know if they work for GP3 1.13.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
I'd guess at a no!by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
AGP card. runs at AGP4x, if you want to know. Getting new card tomorrow hopefully.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Oh yeah, I forgot, the PO in software mode varies from 25% to 46% so I don't understand why Hardware mode is such a problemby harjinator - Grand Prix 3
2.4 GHz Celeron processor, and 256 DDR RAM. Currently using a Hercules Prophet 4000XT, which has to be the worst thing I bough for the PC (except for a sound card that doesn't work) May get a Radeon 9600 or a GeForce FX5700/5200 (undecided as yet whether to be a cheapskate, or get a good card and eventually GP4)by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Hows the cooling on your processor? Do you have any other problems? I had something similar, turns out teh heatsink wasn't on my processor properly.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Anybody got any tips as to which graphics card works best? I'm planning to get a new one on a tight budget (under £100) so I'm looking at possibly a Radeon 9200. Would this run GP3 in Hardware mode and thus solve my problems?by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Found a neat way of putting GP3 carsets into GP3-2000. If you export the carset to orignial GP3 in GP3-Edit, then go to carset creator, inport from GP3, and then export it straight to GP3-2000. Works a treat and takes about 2 minutes to update both games!by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Hypersnap doesn't work either. Can GP3 be run in a window?by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Just a friendly question-why bother? Why dont you put your own fictional team in with some of your mates as drivers? Or, failing that, you could put the team's horsepower down to the absolute minimum so they don't feature in the race (if they're lucky they'll reach the first coner before two laps are complete) Personally, I don't think it would be possible. You cnby harjinator - Grand Prix 3
I've tried similar programs to hypersnap, but they did nothing. I've actually just lost my updated GP3 (PC died AGAIN!) so I'm going to have to do it from scratch. It's a slow job with a 56k! I'll see if Hypersnap works and put the result on here.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Does ANYTHING work in software mode? Half the tracks around are for Hardware mode, which my newly upgraded PC still won't run!by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
THanks, will try that. Does anybody know if GPxSAT has a software mode?by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Hi, I'm new here (though I've been playing GP3 for about a year) and I was wondering how to take screeenshots of my amazing (well OK, not so amazing) driving. I've tried using Print Screen, but it didn't work. Is there any utilities anywhere?by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Does a Radeon 9200 work with Hardware mode? I have a Hercules Prophet 4000XT at the moment and it refuses to run hardware mode without teh PO going through the roof, even with a 2.4GHz processor.by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
Does anybody know where to gat a software version of teh new Hockenheim circuit, preferably for GP3-2000by harjinator - Grand Prix 3
