I propose a competition - whoever comes up with the silliest cause of death which kills as many people as swine flu wins.
I'm pretty sure more people die a year as a result of falling pet ferrets or stepping on a hedgehog..

Off-Topic Yeah, I meant £'s. It's a bit of a shame with the Lenovo machines, but I might go for one eitherway. The Dell Vostros look really nice as well, maybe if I can find a decent Core2 setup it should be ok.
Sucks with SSDs, I've been wanting to get one as a system drive for a while, but they're still prohibitively expensive !

Off-Topic I've decided to change my desktop for a laptop as I'll be moving abroad for a while, and I know virtually nothing of current laptops
I'm looking for a reliable, fairly tough machine (likely to in the field) which I can depend on. I need fairly good processing and memory power as I do a lot of photo editing and work with GIS software. Screen quality is fairly irrelevant as I

Off-Topic I get the feeling Brundle was much happier working with ITV than BBC, my guess is he's being allowed far fewer liberties of style and speech by the corporation..

F1 Most boring race since some of the 2004 jobbies imo. Not too impressive in the Roland Garros final either..
I was watching the mountain bike downhill world cup with a lot more interest!

F1 It's all fun and games until you put normal people in danger, the police car should have shot/tazered him there and then.

Off-Topic Yes, these days they whip out the blue flags as soon as the leading car is on the horizon, no less!

F1 Yep these events are destabilising FOTA, they will eventually either wither away to a few grumpy teams or realise they actually have to start some cost cutting.
The likes of Toyota need to learn a few lessons from the likes of Minardi back in the day, you CAN make a little go a long way.

F1 Sounds a bit 'metallic' and turbo-ish

Other Games Isn't Hamilton now holding the record for most punishments in a year(previously held by Senna and Schumacher of course)?

F1 More impressive than funny to be honest !

F1 Gotta love Piquet's comments and general race-weekend attitute! Way to go, buddy, you're sure to stay on for many more seasons, eh !! :D

F1 I would credit RBR (with a wheel of course!) for teaching me to relax and be gentle and steady in all actions while driving, it has definately gone through to my real life driving(so have other things, but this as well), especially last year in the Alps. My friends and family now say I drive fairly quickly but very smoothly and in control - i.e. moving along but not in boy-racer aggro-fashion and

Other Games I still don't see why they don't just have arcade and simulation modes like in the old days, development budget I suppose. RBR was very impressive, it took a long time to learn to drive properly and calm down, then the records came tumbling down and it felt so good

F1 Not sure how much the refuelling ban will add to the spectacle, but I guess its true purpose is to get some trickle down technologies for the car market. I mean once everyone starts borrowing like crazy again they'll want the latest, greatest and greenest cars ever... :D

F1 Maybe find a mate with an old motherboard and try connecting it up. That's what I did after a PSU exploded during assembly!

Off-Topic A few years ago I was told I was too skinny to do it lol !! Should be allright now, but bloody final year of uni is unletting in its persistence to rob me of any semblance of free time ( yes it's a bit hypocritical typing this in a forum during my spare time!!!)

Off-Topic When I was looking into getting into club rallying some years ago I got the impression co-pilots are much the same as the drivers - starting out in local events with a friend or whatnot and progressing on with experience/talent.
I'd imagine a co-pilot requires both good natural ability at what he does as well as extensive experience at a variety of events and levels.
