F1 A journo in the paddock (can't remember who; sorry) tweeted earlier that Marussia are indeed present, and are prepping two cars. I should think Alex Rossi will stand in for Jules.

F1 The consensus seems to be that Honda (the race promoter) did not want the start time brought forward because of the number of fans who would rely on public transport to get there. Rail tickets are likely to have been for a specific service, so a last-minute rescheduling would have created a logistical nightmare.

They'll have had a tap on the shoulder from Bernie, no doubt.

I'm starting to wonder if Charlie knew about the crane. I'm sure I read somewhere that the SC must be thrown to allow course vehicles onto the track if they are in a dangerous area, so perhaps it was a decision

F1 I can't see gears being a problem - they have eight of them, and the limited ratios should encompass all circuits. I read in the pre-season that they just use either end of the gears (1-7, 2-8) depending on the track characteristics.

F1 Helio at the 500, Massa in 2008... there are plenty of examples of good losers. I'm just not sure Hamilton actually understands that sometimes he is just beaten.

MSC overtook Alex Wurz there after their epic slapfight around Loewes.

A GPG-style argument is one thing. This is quite another. You might want to engage your brain before posting such blatant xenophobia. If I mode

F1 I'd like to take this opportunity to be the first to blindly make predictions based on 2 hours of testing. Ferrari have obvious reliability issues, and Mercedes are going to wrap up both titles.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to be the first to repeatedly remind everyone not to make blind assumptions based on testing

F1 What I'm liking about these interpretations is how we all seem to disagree about which one looks the best - I can't remember the last season that contained cars with such different shapes. I'm sure you'd have to go back to the 90s.
And they appear to sound awesome. Which, I modestly add, I've been saying to anyone who asks all along

F1 I'd like to add a further pat on the back for Gav; that was a great post.
Schumacher the driver had flaws that will always be debated, much like Senna, but that's completely normal. Any thread about any great driver will always stir up opposing opinions. I don't think Morbid is trolling - what happens to a driver after their career doesn't proscribe discussion about what t

F1 This is why I don't get the hate for the guy. The finger and the post-race radio messages are pretty cheesy, but out of that context he does come across as a genuinely nice guy, with a sharp sense of humour. His standing among journalists is probably the best indicator of that.

F1 I don't know if it helps, but I re-installed this out of curiosity the other day and found that file permissions were an issue - I had to remove the read-only flag from the whole directory before it would work properly. The same might apply to mods that you add, so maybe try resetting the permissions once you install something?

Other Games It's likely that the root domain and sub-domain are pointing in different ways - your root record is likely to be of type 'A', which can only point to a specific IP address, whereas your sub-domain will likely be a CNAME record, which can point at your dynamic DNS address. If you want, you could PM me your domain name and I can double-check this for you.

Off-Topic Taki Inoue suggested that Massa will go to Lotus - it has been suggested elsewhere that Massa can't bring the kind of sponsorship money that Sauber need, and Taki does have his ear to the ground generally, as a driver manager.
