theres also a few more photos of it now. hmmm, its an odd one. at first glance from a distance it looks very conventional, then when you look a bit closer you see its got the steep sloping and sharp pointed nose, the exhausts seem to be very far forward in the side pods, and as i mentioned earlier, no central column on rear wing. the diffuser looks fairly tame but then its a littleby marwood82 - F1

Oh no... the thing is it could be what A1 needs. i've always felt as a concept it was a good idea, but one of its (many) problems is that its never managed to find its place on the motorsport ladder. so you end up with a completely random spectrum of drivers in it. yeah i think the new tyre rule does give the possibility to spice things up a little bit. the one change i'm glad got blocked was the mandatory number of pit stops rule as it would have almost completely removed any need for tyre management. i think the battle between those who can make their tyres last and those that can't is going to be one of the things to watch this year.by marwood82 - F1
i see they've gone for a brushed aluminium effect with the silver. from the way the press release describes the car it sounds like the black on the car is bare carbon fiber?by marwood82 - F1

has anyone heard owt about where the 'official' silverstone campsites actually are? i've bought a permit as i figured £35 is a better deal than litchlake but they don't actually say where this camping is.by marwood82 - F1
ok, didn't see that bit, from that description i guess you'll be ok then. though from experience it can depend on how informed the particular genius they've got checking the tickets is! (they wouldn't let me into one despite having a BRDC pass in 07!) i was planning on having a sit in the pitstraight grandstand for first practice.by marwood82 - F1

to put it some sort of context it would cost me about £30-£40 per game to watch Stoke in the premiership without a season ticket. i paid about £50 to watch a double header in the 20twenty cricket world cup at the oval in the summer, the NFL game at wembley worked out at about £60 a ticket they all only last a few hours. most music festivals are well into the £150+ bracket nowby marwood82 - F1

they mention the possibility of using the new moto gp 'arena' circuit too. and looking at the website, they're even going to run their own campsites too.(no more £90pp at litchlake!) come BRDC, get that new pit+paddock complex built then that surely will be the end of it!by marwood82 - F1
renault possibly being offloaded to prodive? fits with the rumours circulating earlier in the year, sell the team but carry on supplying engines. (though the suggested buyer at that point was flavio ) i wonder how kubica would fit into all this.
