I'm going to go and put a 10 quid bet on Nico and a 10 quid bet on kimi for the champ!

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Don't think it'll happen. 31 of October is Presidential Election Day here in Brazil. Doubt they'd be able to host the GP on a day like that.

The elections are on 3 October. So it should be race time on the 31st!

2nd phase is set for 31st though. And the chance of that happening is very likely.

Good choice, especially with Dallara involved.

Yes, I'm glad that Senna has got a drive with an entry-level team and hasn't been parachuted into a big-name organisation. :) There is less pressure on him in his debut season, and more opportunity to shine in (what we expect to be) inferior equipment - just like his uncle.

Now Campos need a strong lead driver, someone who can be a good mentor to young Senna and show him the way with car setup, etc. *Please* not de la Rosa...

P.S. Madotter, why have you got Williams as cars 5 and 6??

He's not Ayrton.

Because Vettel is now 2nd in the championship therefor he would get car no.3.

Excellent news about Senna! :) Finally he's in, and with Dallara chassis and Cosworth engines, his team could prove to be one of the surprise packages of the season too.

It doesn't work that way. Numbers 1 and 2 go for the team that has last years champion as a driver, and numbers from 3 onwards will be given according to last years constructors championship results.

Insider info: There's no way Ferrari are getting 5 & 6 next year. It's going to be 7&8 :(.

Did you know that during the time that Michael Schumacher has come into the team, they've only been down to 5&6 and that was in 06 & 07.

1996: 1&2
1997: 5&6
1998: 3&4
1999: 3&4
2000: 3&4
2001: 1&2
2002: 1&2
2003: 1&2
2004: 1&2
2005: 1&2
2006: 5&6
2007: 5&6
2008: 1&2
2009: 3&4
2010: 7&8 :(

If Sauber does get an entry, will they get the constructors place of BMW or will they be flat last in the ranks?

Using Brawn as a guide, they should be last?

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

Never say never ;)

all it takes is Lewis retiring and Kimi finishing 7th, weirder things have happened than that in the past!

Madotter, based on Constructors' finishing positions it would be:

Brawn GP - 1 & 2
Red Bull - 3 & 4
Ferrari & McLaren would dispute 5, 6, 7 & 8 between them
etc.
