Definately Damon, although we have heard they changed the stig a few times, but at least we know he was the stig at a certain point!!

LS's Tip of the week
ESSENTIAL OILS aren't essential unless you're an engine, a gearbox or a twat

Saw this on Finalgear a few days ago, and almost instantly (after his initial sentence when he's bit muffled) knew who it was.

I've seen Hammond dressed in Stiggeh gear too, so frankly, feck knows who and how many Stigs there have been.

Appearing on a New Zealand Motorsport television programme called 'Pit Lane' on January 17th 2007, A1GP team manager and British motorsport personality David Sears was questioned if he knew the identity of the Top Gear test driver known only as "The Stig". Without hesitation and in a very matter-of-fact manner he replied, "Oh, you want to know who the Stig is... Ben Collins, he's a British sportscar driver, Ben Collins".

In all honesty though, does it matter? Its better not knowing who The Stig is.

yeah i was a bit upset he didn't keep the act up, when he spoke.

it's funny when he doesn't respond to anything anyone says.

but yeah it's probably a few different people depending on schedule and what type of car is being tested.

Ben Collins does a lot of work for the awful Vroom Vroom on Sky.

lol at "what the **** is this!?" from JC.

and i'd rather listen to Jizzy Tissue than the dreary, dull, bilge of Travis.

From The Sunday Mirror:

CLARKSON'S TV RETURN
By Lara Gould Tv Reporter

JEREMY Clarkson has confirmed he will be returning to front a new series of Top Gear.

The TV presenter, 46, left the future of the BBC2 show in doubt last week after telling viewers there would "not be a new series".

But last night he said: "Everyone seems to think the programme is finished or that I've left.

"Well, sorry to disappoint you all but it isn't and I haven't. Top Gear... will be back in the autumn."

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

The Stig IS many different people - one of me dad's mates works on the show, obviously one man is not free to do every single shoot and so they get anyone who is free. Obviously though there are some who get called up more than others e.g Ben Collins - If you look closely you can also see the Stig seems to amazingly change in height form show to show and his belly seems to grow and shrink ;)

Companies often send there own driver to test the cars. Theres 1 driver for the Porsches for example.

And Heikki Kovalainen for the Renault F1 car. A friend who hung around after one of the ones he saw filmed, saw Ben Collins as the Stig. However, i'm definitely inclined to think that he changes regularly.
