could it be possible to have (in adition to the mouse swap setting) a setting to have the left mousebutton for moving, and the right button for rotating. so you dont constantly have to switch form rotate to displace and vice versa.

What about creating hotkeys? You could bind displace to 1, rotate to 2 etc... that would help heaps!

Going to try the new editor tonight.

I would remind everyone that 3DEditor already supports shortcuts (I think there's some kind of usual guide with the app but I'm not sure :))

If I remind well, F5-F6-F7 are for displace/rotate/scale modes.

Hm, thats a shame, i see the trouble.

Well i think so, cause for the first few sectors to see where the line begins and edit that sector is easy, but when your doing ccline section 19 you'll have to add up all the values to know wich sector you should "normalize"

great :)

also nice to hear

Hm thought it was in previous versions too, but i could be wrong

I understand, but cant you just simulate the fact that you have an gp4 file loaded? And empty one. it's kinda messy creating a new track with all those monza buildings in the way :+

ok

Looking forward to that one allready :)

edit oh, i just had an idea baout arm direction (yes again :+) is it posibble to have arm direction edited relative to the section it's assigned to? so an value of 0 would mean its in line with the section, any other vallue would mean an offset. instead of like now being relative to the whole scene.

edit2I've noticed during ccline editing, when i shift the line, all goed well untill i enter a value somewhere around 600. when i get above that (jut try 999 for instance) you will see the shift that you see wont match with the meters value in the box. Known problem?

feature request
Maybe a button to set alle dat sector heights to the same as sector one. sometimes things get bumpy, and getting it flat is nearly impossible doing the movement by hand. so it owuld be pretty handy imho :)

New tracks will be available when they are ready , making or modifiying a track need alot of time so we will have to wait and someday maybe we will have great new tracks.

You can try it when there's something to try. This is only the visual part, you can't drive on it yet. I'm really hoping to get something drivable for the European GP in May, but thats not an estimate. Remodelling a whole section of the .gp4 file is very time consuming! Who knows!?

I'm also looking for hi-res pics of the mercedes arena section im working on. I'd especially like some ariel shots from above the section is possible. If anyone can find any decent ones, please post them here or send them to me. Thanks!

I have plenty of those diagrams, and the problem is they don't show the exact width of the track in certain places. I need photos.
