What a shame - i wonder if he'll be in more towards the end of the season? Can't be ruled out just yet, i guess.
Still, well done Ferrari for finally letting Luca Badoer have a go. I wonder how he will rate on the substitute scale? Are we looking at a Mika Salo or a JFV?

chance for 3rd car option, Montezemolo is pushing for that.

3 cars eh? sounds good doesnt it on paper.
Force India, Williams, Brawn, and STR im sure will be against this. When trying to reduce costs what is the point in 3 cars? Take away BMW and we still have a grid of 24 cars next year if the new guys make it. 3 cars for Ferrari means one less points posistion for FI or the new teams for example.
It's silly at this stage. If we get to the point where the field is looking a little bare, say 18 cars, then 3 cars could be a justified solution. The idea also brings in the chance to run new drivers, and effectivley test people, but we dont need it at this stage.
What's the point?

Complete arragonce. RBR and Brawn to a less extent have shown they have what it takes to grab hold of the top, shake it and watch everyone fall down

they just want to find an excuse to run Massa, Kimi and Alonso - its nothing to do with Schumacher.
but anyway, three car teams would be terrible, and it disadvantages the small teams even more - and raises costs even more: two things the FIA doesn't want to happen.
If Ferrari want to run more cars, they can buy another team like Red Bull and Honda have done in the last few years.

LOL, Schumacher and Alonso as teammates. I'd give anything to see it, but it's more likely we'll see Moss, Brabham and Surtees together frankly.
