If that were to happen, I'd like to see the cameras get a shot of the look on Bernie's face..

I really hope this is the end for Raikkonen and we finally see how off the pace he really is.

What a shame - i wonder if he'll be in more towards the end of the season? Can't be ruled out just yet, i guess.

Still, well done Ferrari for finally letting Luca Badoer have a go. I wonder how he will rate on the substitute scale? Are we looking at a Mika Salo or a JFV?

As you were. Now the closest thing I'll come to watching a GP is wathing the computer cars drive on GP4 - atleast Schumi is still there, even though it's not really him.

Perhaps he can be next year because Bmw out their is a
chance for 3rd car option, Montezemolo is pushing for that.

This is the quote: "We're continuing to fight until every team has the right to start with three cars in the next season (and one I'd have handed over to Michael with pleasure). I prefer three McLaren and three Renault to three "whatevers". With BMW gone, there's not much to say but lots to do."

Personally it be wonderfull a come back from MS, but lets see.

Cheers :)

3 cars eh? sounds good doesnt it on paper.

Force India, Williams, Brawn, and STR im sure will be against this. When trying to reduce costs what is the point in 3 cars? Take away BMW and we still have a grid of 24 cars next year if the new guys make it. 3 cars for Ferrari means one less points posistion for FI or the new teams for example.

It's silly at this stage. If we get to the point where the field is looking a little bare, say 18 cars, then 3 cars could be a justified solution. The idea also brings in the chance to run new drivers, and effectivley test people, but we dont need it at this stage.

What's the point?

edit - I prefer three McLaren and three Renault to three whatevers

Complete arragonce. RBR and Brawn to a less extent have shown they have what it takes to grab hold of the top, shake it and watch everyone fall down ;-)!

they just want to find an excuse to run Massa, Kimi and Alonso - its nothing to do with Schumacher.

but anyway, three car teams would be terrible, and it disadvantages the small teams even more - and raises costs even more: two things the FIA doesn't want to happen.

If Ferrari want to run more cars, they can buy another team like Red Bull and Honda have done in the last few years.

Kimi wants to do rally. If the 3 car options in on
Schumacher can be back...

LOL, Schumacher and Alonso as teammates. I'd give anything to see it, but it's more likely we'll see Moss, Brabham and Surtees together frankly. ;-)
