If they are ever running 1-2 though in the next 3 races kimi can forget winning unless he does not help massa.

Hmm yeah but you can't really assume anything like that, because you could just as easily argue that had Piquet not crashed and caused a safety car, Massa would have pitted on his planned lap, the pressure situation would have been slightly different. Basically we have no way of saying that the Mechanic would have still made the same mistake.

It's all into the realms of ifs and buts.

This made me laugh

Di Montezemolo has also not calmed down in his criticisms of the Singapore Grand Prix - which he claims deserves no place in F1.

"On Sunday in front of the TV I felt like I was at Disneyworld," he said. "Let's hope that at Singapore in 2009 they'll do fashion catwalks, Disney parades, or something else.

"But certainly not F1. If this is the future of racing, we are sorted... I didn't like Valencia, we'll make ourselves be heard."

Haha!
Nothing, then, to do with his team screwing up in the pits - or finishing 13th and 15th in the race...

Oh he also said kimi went off the track at a corner where there was no run off. Did he not look at what caused kimi to spin? it was the run off on his right he pulled back on and spun.

Wasn't it over 7 tenths? Massa's quali lap was a total corker. I'm not a fan of Massa but that lap was amazing, it just seemed to come out of nowhere. He was probably a bit lighter(1-2 laps) than Lewis and Kimi, but not much more. He just seemed to hook up all the sweet spots on the lap and go bloody fast.

The thing with Montzelemo is that he doesn't seem to be interested in racing. The only thing he's interested in is seeing Ferrari finish first and second in every race and in the most boring way possible.

In the past few years he's tried to put Ferrari up on a pedestal that it really does not deserve, I'm surprised that he hasn't openly tried making it illegal for any car but a Ferrari to win a Grand Prix.

Bring back the pre 1996 Ferrari :(

Felipe and Lewis had similar fuel loads ...kimi was 2-3 laps heavier.

This is why Bernie should be made Prime Minister. ;)

...

Bring back the pre 1996 Ferrari

Pit incidents, rig towings (Singapore '08), e-mail trouble(Fuji '07), engine failiures(Hungary'08)

are the sights of pre '96 ferrari.

Only thing that is missing is overhysterical, late braking, often crashing, seldom winning francosicylian,
but they will one for sure.

Actually the Ferrari pit crew along with McLaren's have pretty much always been one of the best in F1.

Ferrari being in disarray pre 96 was more down to the politics within the team and of-course lousy cars.
