I think that safety car rule is an absolute joke. Alright, it gave us an unusual result but it made a mockery of people who really tried hard in that race. Alonso had bad luck in qualifying and was just in the right place at the right time.

The rule was introduced to level the playing field. If a SC came out and you had just passed the pit entrance, you got screwed, whilst the people behind got lucky. So now you have to wait for them to open the pit lane, so everyone has the same opportunity.

Either way people are going to bitch about it, so it doesn't matter what they do at the end of the day

Did it on purpose to help his team mate, who won only because of the pace car, and in no way related to Piquets 2nd place at Hockenheim.

Something along those lines?

I must to say it in spanish 'cause i don't know how to say in english... CARRERON !!! ;) who said they could not overtake in Singapore?? ah??

Very good work (and lot of luck) of ING Renault F1 team, good strategy of sending one guy to crash around and the other to push and push (hehehehe... just kidding...)... Alonso deserves this victory, he was the most consistent of all weekend...

Ferrari is in other planet (i mean for pit work)... Massa on front is good, on back looks like M.Schumacher sometimes, just sucks... and Kimi, well... no comments...

Mclaren's work was just regular... Heiki again miss the start and the race was done for him... Hamilton runs like a champ, why take risks when the red guys are doing all things wrong...

Definitely, we must have more night races, at least two or three...

Back to basics... I feel like a newbie! hahahahaa!!!

Takuma Sato or Anthony Davidson would be great to replace him !!.

I would love to see Davidson given a chance again, he is one of Formula 1's under rated drivers IMHO.

Piquet and Kimi...

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Kimi at least looked good before he made a twat of himself. Piquet was awful all weekend, and constantly miles behind Alonso and then finally finished his weekend off. Both were bad, but not on the same scale of bad.

Great race, big shame for Felipe Ferrari have let him down big time.
Superb win for Fernando and an equally superb 2nd place for Nico.
Title looks like Lewis's for certain now.

LOL @ Brundle's grid walk. Bernie throwing him at the prime minister. Then him assaulting some guy from the "Daily Depress". Brilliant. :D

Slightly smaller LOL at Rubens chucking his helmet liner or gloves to the crowd... and missing all of them, it ending in a rather large puddle. :D

James Allen's "BOOM" comment on the replay of Raikkonen hitting the wall.... oh dear.

Post on another forum:
"OMG! Massa destroys the pit"

ROFL

Yeah Brundle's grid walk was great today. He cracked me up with his response to the ING lady's question too.

Piquet will be without a seat next year for certain now. How many retirements due to accidents has he had so far this season?
Heikki's also been a huge dissapointment for me this season. Not accident prone but lacking pace at every race compared with Lewis for most of the GPs this year. He doesn't look too happy there either.

Kimi is the most consistent driver now btw. Massive fail for Ferrari. I really had a moment of OMGWTFBBQ! when I read the results when I came home (missed the race). I wonder if there is anyone who is richer than God now because last week he betted on Vettel and now on Alonso to win. ;)

Btw, this really must be some kind of a record with so many different drivers on the podium, winning and different teams winning races. Only 2003 were more teams who won I guess.

It really does. :@

Piquet needs to be kicked out ASAP and give a chance to the younger drivers waiting in the wing. I was really annoyed when he crashed. So many curses flew at him :@.

Presently however, Fernando "Nandos" Alonso ;) drove and got lucky in a fantastic race. The win couldn't go to a more deserving driver. Funny how Piquet crashing got Fernando a victory. Piquet deserves the "Twat of the Year" award imo for doing such a stupid mistake and costing Felipe such a big lead and victory (ok i know it was the system's fault but i'm looking at the guy who triggered all this), Ant D would be a great option or even Yamamoto, sure he isn't a fast paced driver but at least he can keep it on the road.

Ferrari were the @#$%& idiots of all. Why do they employ that bollocks of a system they saw it created a problem in Valencia so the common sense idea is to get rid of it. JUST USE THE BLOODY LOLLIPOP, ITS @#$%& RELIABLE! I was so disheartened when Felipe lost his motivation to race. If Ferrari lose the championship this year, I'll be glad because the biggest mistakes have been from the team's side. First the Melbourne race incident and then the problems at Silverstone (It was down to drivers too i suppose) and then the Engine Problems in Hungary and Valencia and the Pitstop system in Valencia and now Singapore. If they have any hope of even winning the championship, they'd better get themselves reorganised, focus on the job in hand and sort out the car's and the team's motivation issues. If Ross was there, you wouldn't see anything like this right now. He's being wasted (imo) at Honda. Kimi, well...

Nico got lucky and pulled a great lead over Jarno before his DT, and drove a great race, glad to see he kept Lewis behind and got team a second place. Frank Williams is going to be proud :)
