Massa is having neck pain so he can't do long runs at the moment.

i know from previous grand prix' that practise 3 was always a little indication of how fast ferrari and mclaren where with race fuel (so q3 times) thats why they are almost never on top at practise 3.

Yes! :D Kimi was 3 tenths faster in his final atempt, but as Massa didn't beat his first time Kimi went into the pits to save 1 lap of fuel, woot.

[fanboyism off]

sorry peeps ;)

Heh, good result. Finally Kimi with pole position. Should be a pretty straight forward race tomorrow.

Its probably going to be another boring French GP, I am hoping for rain to spice it up a bit. I was also hoping Alonso was going to get pole, again just to add some action to the gp.

good result for Kimi. Even better, since he saved some fuel.

The BMW is surprisingly looking uncomfortable in this track. Both their drivers seem to be suffering from a lot of understeer.

Yeh!! Kimi on pole and I think he's heavier than massa too! And if he is he even has extra fuel after aborting his last lap!

Should see some good racing tomorrow.

yes kimi was happy and said that the car is very good on heavy fue load and he even saved fuel so he is again heavier than Felipe just like last year. I hope for dry race!

What? Hiekki a penalty and not Nakajima ?????? To me Hiekki looked to get out the way pretty quick!

Just where was kovy meant to go? he was also held up by the williams yet again seems a bit stupid, yet a ferrari on the racing line not at full speed gets nothing and a car had to move off line to get passed nothing done there at all. No the car was not held up as such but did have to go off line so would have got dirt on his tyres. And kimi held up kubica in australia and nothing was done there either, its just a joke when they hand out penalties. They have got to make them the same for everyone and they are not.

Nakajima gets a penalty for taking kubica out the race in Australia, kimi nothing for taking out Sutil in Monaco.

I dont agree with the Kovy penalty at all, plus it did not affect webber anyway he was already through to the next round

Mclaren had already changed the fuel load for Kovy before quali 3 so I bet he is on a 2 stop now. Lewis is probably on a 3 along with the rest of the top 10. Kovy could still be looking good for a top 3.

Webber didnt look affected anyway, he himself slowed down... if he kept it at full speed he would have crossed the line with no time lost imo, he made it look worse than i think it actually was...

kimi-sutil accident was debated whole month by you and its time to be quiet about it now. especialy because kimi hit a car that wasn`t even supposed to be there.

Erm, Nakajima was on a hot lap and tried to pass Kovalainen but didn't have enough room, and then Webber also got slowed because of this.

Heikki penalty? Seriously? That's a joke! Nakajima was unimpeded and Webber chose to slow down himself so he could start a fresh lap!

And what happens to those drivers with 4 wheels off the track? Sweet f**k all. Great consistency by the stewards.....

Well done to Alonso, the guy deserves his position and i hope Renault can get back to the front cause Alonso is a great talent and we need more teams fighting at the top. I hope for a wet race with Alonso beating both Ferrari's off the line just to make things interesting.
