Magny Cours Grand Prix ***SPOILERS***

it's raining not good...I hoped for real race for the first time since a long time but no...

It's not raining at the moment, it's barely even damp and there's no rain forecast before the start at least, so plenty of time for it to dry. Any rain is expected to be light.

It was hardly going to be a 'real race' with Heikki and Hamilton so far down the grid. A text-book 1-2 for Ferrari. This is Magny-cours, where the only real overtaking place is preceded by a long 130mph corner with an understeery 150-160mph exit. Good race it was never going to be.

We've had all of 2 races in a row that have been different. Spot the Kimi fanboy.

Doubt it will rain...looks pretty cloudy but bright.

haha team orders from McLaren , it's clear! they ordered Heikki to let Lewis pass him...but well Lewis is with 3 stops so no worries.

Well he passed a car using the run off. You can't pass there without doing what he did. Had he stuck to the defined circuit, he wouldn't have gotten the position.

Deserved penalty.

dont know if he passed the car. it looked from the onboard her already passed and yes, you could argue he would have never held the position otherwise but without external camhard to tell. maybe your right. hamilton is having manic race...nice SMACK on alonso. hamilton getting his revenge on alonso this year huh lol.

He didn't make the position in the chicane, no. You are correct there. But the reason he got the position was he sacrificed the chicane. Had he braked and taken the regular route, he wouldn't have gotten the position had Vettel acted normally.

At the end of the day the rules say you cannot gain an advantage of position from leaving the circuit. Lewis did, and he was penalised.

Piquet finally showing a decent bit of skill..

Massa did a good race but wouldn't of won if Kimi had no problems.

Hamilton was... somewhere.

Normally id say Massa deserved it, he did, but Kimi did it even more, but im happy with 2nd was this the second race for kimis engine? proberly not, might be an engine chance, good job to trulli and piquet to.

I wonder if Kimi's car is now under weight(because of the lost exhaust pipe and the hole) then what will happend, will he get disqualified?hopefully not.

Man of the race ? :s in what way? he just drove round with less power basically and did what was needed...

Hiekki and Trulli both had performances that were by far more impressive imo. Both Ferraris did nothing but drone round lap after lap.

A shite race, though I would say that wouldnt I. I can usually be sure of at least one of my cars doing well, but aswell as JB retiring, Rosberg had no pace, and Rubens had no pace. I pretty much turned off when JB retired and only really took notice when it looked like Hiekki could take 3rd.

A quiet but strong race from Piquet, he kept it clean and on the black stuff which was all he needed to do, and a silly mistake from Alonso gave him some much needed points. Can he keep it up though...?

Bah the ferrari #2 didnt deserved it, Kimi the man of the race, no doubt. Had he had the exaust problem, he wouldnt do what Kimi did.

dont beleive it! Kimi should of had this win! Stupid exhaust. Glad he managed to secure 2nd though.
