Shame for him, but it was quite arrogant to say halfway the season "i will not let the gap between schumi and me getting less than 15 points".

Now he knows better ;)

yes it's now announced Michael retired .Great drive from Michael ,Kimi and Kubica well done top 3 .good to see Alonso retiring :) Massa was very bad today.

according to finnish newspaper Michael will assist Jeant Todt next year somehow.

I gotta say, brilliant drive from Kubica. He deserves it, and has shown he is actually more capable than Villeneuve. Should be interesting to see him next year. Also, although somwhat overshadowed, Kimi did a great drive as well, putting the McLaren in second when I thought they'd be nowhere this race.

Congratulations to Schumacher. I know he's had a controversial career, but I still think he was one of the greatest ever in Formula 1. Still, I'm glad he's retiring, as it'll give space to the young guns too.

Massa had a crappy day, as had Alonso. Let's see where the Massa-Alonso issue will lead now...Briatorre must be kicking his own butt heh...
