Was quite a good race.

Good job that Alonso's engine blew IMO, at least it meant that the FIA's wrong and fixed decision will not affect the championship too much.

Only one person deserves this championship, and thats Alonso. He has been the best driver all year and has driven stunningly, and did so again today.

If Schumacher wins this championship, then it will be the only one out of eight he doesn't deserve.

If the FIA don't tamper with grids and drivers in the next few races, then I predict Alonso will come through and take the championship.

well i predict kimi to be 2007 champion. with ferraris reliability and speed it has to be kimi. mclaren will producr a fast but unreliable car. renault have 1 average and 1 unproven driver.

and ms has to be given respect with all his faults for turning ferrari along with brawn etc. into what they are today.

Do you have telepathic powers, or inside connections at the FIA?

It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.

I am not an Alonso fan. Infact, i dislike him alot. Please dont assume because i belive the FIA made a massive and biast decsion, that i am a fan of the driver they penalised.

as it was said in monaco though it was not the FIA that made the choice to move alonso down the grid it was the race stewards.

But alonso and flavio have now bought the sport into disripute and for that the fia will probably take action.

I still dont think alonso held up massa.

I liked what was said though by alonso after the engine blew "this is what people wanted hope they sleep well tonight" lol.

"I could go find more quotes and stuff from TV, radio and website interviews, but tbh, im kinda busy and cba finding the stuff which is readily avliable on forums and websites around the world."

Doesn't indicate that despite all the support that Renault have a legitimate reason to claim ulterior motives behind the decision.

Damage limitation. Because the FIA would rather kick him out the sport than admit fault or even at a push, corruption.

Alonsos comments and Briatories comments in the press conference this morning were NOT said in jest. They were said deadly seriously and you can tell by tone of voice, body languange and all the rest of it.

finally the Renault explodes. been waiting to see it for ages, just to restore my faith in the fact that not everything is perfect. Oh and well done Kubica. Has to be said that wasn't the most interesting race ever.... DOn't see why Monza is still rated highly-seems all it has is it's history, which does not a good race make.

So a driver can't speak there mind? The FIA are there to enforce the rules not babysit what the drivers feel. The recent events all go against Renault. Like the mass damper was banned under a rule never put in place to stop that device and under that logic the steering wheel and brake pedal should be banned.

I fully agree with Alonso, this is turning out to be as fixed as the WWE is.

I do believe that that was the point i was making.

i think the fia argument is more towards the fact that alonso was on a outlap whereas massa was on a hotlap. but i still dont see where the impeding took place. i think the ruling has to be on the very edge of the regulations.

Take it with the FIA.

They tried that. And got threatened with removal from the sport.

Now what do you suggest?
