'have' wasn't your advice though, you suggested changing it to 'get', which changed the tense from past (which would fit with the game's premise, much like a facebook newsfeed) to present, which is nonsense.
For what it's worth, "got" means current possession, which is entirely valid. I suspect your teacher was a fading remnant of archaic English us

Off-Topic loooooooool.
Tried watching it on youtube but it made me sign up an account. So i logged in through my gmail user/pass, and it demands it to be set up with a youtube account. I did not proceed from there. That catches me out every 3 months I reckon. Very annoying.

Even then, it takes a good minute or so to go through the garage screens and have it start installing something when you finally find the button to swap to that car. It

Other Games The gokarting is crazy fun.
The installing-as-you-go is weird, clever idea, but overnight I just let it install everything it wants to so that's all done with for me now.
The menu system is ridiculous. It takes ages to toss your way through the garage to finally find the car you need to enter the crazily specific event you need to do.

Amazing way to finish. Frustrating as hell, given that my second fave driver behind webber is alonso, but hey, it's sh*t like that that makes you know you still care about the sport

Off-Topic I remember finishing my second year of uni and having a massive houseparty and had heaps of people sleep over on the floor - the next morning Jehovah's witnesses or seventh day adventists or something (apologies for the blase grouping but it was one of those lot) came a-knocking, i answered it presumably looking worse for wear, and then decided to argue with them about why god allows tornado

F1 Well said gav. Honestly if Webber was, let's say, swedish or something, I'd want him to win just cos he's been around the block so many times in the F1 circus, and then in subsequent years just hope for tight battles up the top. Given that he's australian, there's a certain *ignore all flaws* and go for him anyway. Alan Jones doing it in 1980 was pre-foetal for me, so I w

As a big economy country, South Korea still never host Formula One (F1) grand prix. But the successful of hosting FIFA WOrld Cup 2002 with Japan 8 years ago, it seems that South Korea will host its first grand prix this year.

F1 That crap with the webber cut out makes me annoyed at both webber and red bull- a) why wasn't webber part of the team fun (Yes, I fear "because he was second" ) and b) what message is red bull giving off by doing that? "our number 2 driver isn't here but look at this lawl". Screw them.

Off-Topic So I've got my ps3 back, and had a few goes with it - already i've had a wtf moment.....was in a quick and dirty 3 lap race around suzuka (to jog the memory before the real GP) and I finished 15th with a torro rosso or something, but then had been given a 10 second penalty for whatever reason, so I ended up actually coming last. No big deal, since that seems feasible - but I was miles a

F1 I've often wondered if it's possible to write to the govt without being a crazy person.
I'd like to think I'd have the same sentiment as dan, but I just can't fathom that much money, or therefore what i'd do with it/how i'd behave. The thought of living off the interest (and frankly, being able to do most of the things dan described, just off the interest) is

Off-Topic In terms of throwing ideas around, I've been kicking around the idea of buying the house that I'm currently renting since I figure mortgage repayments will only be an extra couple hundred bucks each fortnight, and it'll maybe curb my spending on trivial things and make me grow up a bit. But yeah, as you say, we'll see how it goes
