F1Spray - 13 years ago
Unusual for me to be asking this kind of question, but is there any way to increase the amount of spray coming off the cars? I've installed Lo2K's Smoke/Dust mod, which has helped somewhat, and also tried the rain filters, but i still think it's too easy to see the track - even compared to GP3, which kind of did a grey transparent mist when you were in the spray. Is there any way

Grand Prix 4 or the world's cheapest world championship?

F1 I think Dave is right. Neither RB driver deserves the drivers title (various bits of fail through the season), and as a team they're really done their best to throw away constructors championship with their numerous mistakes through the year.
Ferrari probably deserve it, purely for the turnaround. I mean Alonso has won 4 of the past 7, and has the most wins of anybody through the season

F1 yeah, they're only on consoles. achivements (or trophies on PS3) are in most if not all games these days

Grand Prix 4 is it 64bit windows 7 or 32bit? I installed and it worked just fine on my windows 7 (32 bit). no changing of any settings. only issue was graphics card related... (dire performance)

Grand Prix 3 it should be on a texture from the rfactor F Nippon mod - not sure if you could extract it from there?

Grand Prix 4 Blue screens would indicate a hardware or driver fault, rather than a problem with GP4 itself. presumably, something to do with the way GP4 works is aggravating it

Grand Prix 4 if you browse to your GP4 data folder, in there is a folder called GP4SAVES (or something like that - not on my GP4 PC at the mo) - name's in block capitals. this is where CSM stores all it's mods. inside, you should see a folder for each mod. If you browse these fodlers, you should find eventually (maybe in a folder called data - again i would check but can't) the files for the

Other Games i've told him what causes the issues. Another way to fix is to get the CD, delete anim.wad, cars.wad and GP4.exe and then repair the install. However, a full reinstallation, as mortal has suggested is probably the easiest fix. I used to get it loads, but then realised i wasn't installing the 9.6 patch properly (i thought once it was extracted it was done - obviously you have to go to

Grand Prix 4 to get the layout of the track (the bits the cars drive on) see if you can find the quick and simple guide on how to build a track in around an hour. it's what i started with and was very useful. can't remember who wrote it - was either maverick or zeppelin101

Grand Prix 4 there is a download link for the helmet shape earlier in the thread. Paulo is correct

Grand Prix 4 i think (correct me if i'm wrong) that some people use Z-modeller for creating buildings and suchlike, which are then imported into GP4Builder. That may be complete rubbish though!
Also - GP4 Builder has an awesome manual which comes with it - reading that can help immensely

Grand Prix 4 and in 10 years, they've never bettered windows 2000 (in my opinion anyway). most stable, fastest version of windows i've ever used anyway

Off-Topic white boxes and white textures is a symptom of using the 9.6 patch exe, but not installing the 9.6 patch (or vice versa). try reinstalling the 9.6 patch, and re-copying over the exe. If that doesn't fix it, it's normally a reinstall job in my experience
Can't help you with the controls i'm afraid - in what way 'aren't working' ?

Grand Prix 3 GP4 isn't hard to update at all... extract wad, copy, paste, compress wad, and off you go... adding a new car takes maybe 5 mins tops :S And adding tracks is mighty easy using TSM. I fail to see how it could be any easier :S

Grand Prix 4 i think you have to do that via GPxPatch in the keybind settings (not something i've actually ever done). Space on the keyboard pauses the game when you're using a controller if that helps...

Grand Prix 4 you can get it to work with analogue sticks... the buttons however, are just buttons. You don't get analogue triggers for example with a PS2 controller. However, you can configure right stick for analogue throttle and brake, and left stick for steering. I found it to be very twitchy though

Grand Prix 4 afaik, (i was reading about this earlier), you may as well buy race-on becase that is basically GTR-Evo + Race 07 + some Swedish touring cars. Someone will no doubt correct me on this! (i've still got GTR2, and i'm sticking with it!)
