Hey guys!
I've not been here for a while. Was mainly known for modding GP3. however I've managed to get my hands on a copy of GP4.
My knowledge of modding this is tiny.
I've got all sorts of issues.
Firstly everytime I try to calibrate a controller, be it a joypad or my G25 I get a CTD... any ideas???
Secondly, I have NO idea how to install new mods. I've downloaded ZAZ t

Other Sports haha Isn't Northampton technically in the midlands??? - I play rugby in Northampton and it's a midlands league we're in??? (well I'm not from there originally so it may as well be the north!!!!)
It's only down the road from the towns most will associate as "midlands" - Birmingham, Cov .....

Off-Topic Whatever... I wont be baited into an argument here...
And trust me I probably know an awful lot more about how to drive a kart or car than you!
Yes you are right about the streamlining being minimal... but the guy asked why they do it... he never asked if it worked... and surely you don't actually lean forward going into the corner... Are you not better off being sat in a more comfortab

Off-Topic Are you serious?????
I think you'll find most karters will "push" the kart in front...
Even in karts there is a slipstreaming effect so 2 karts can work better than 1 and go faster together...
You'll probably find that the driver is leaning forward to create a better streamline position.. (the same as when a motorbike rider will get as low as possible when in a straightl

Other Motorsports I've worked for a kart team in the past and know my way round pretty well. I'll help if I can.
the best place is to probably post some pics up on www.karting.co.uk someone there will definately be able to tell you what chassis and engine it is.
Good luck!

Off-Topic probably... you don't need to know everything about everything. A general idea of how a car works would help. I've found that experience makes up for qualifications. You might find that if you have a few spare weekends it could be worth getting in touch with some race teams and seeing if they need help for race weekends. You'll find that a lot of them are willing to help, especiall

I used to race Karts when I was younger, but I'm not naive enough to think I could be good enough to make a living from it. So I went to college and studied a mechanics course. I saw a race team was looking for weekend junior mechanics, so applied for that

Other Motorsports It's a bloody good day out just leave early. I genuinely didn't expect it to be busy. and I didn't leave Northampton till 10.15 (after a Maccy D's breakfast) so I drove straight into the worst bit of traffic. I'll be there bright an early this year however as I'm now working the whole weekend for one of the Eurocup FRenault teams...

Other Motorsports Renault world series was at Silverstone last year not Donny.
Traffic is a huge problem. I massively underestimated how busy it would be... I live in Northampton and can get to Silverstone in about 15mins (just cruising 80 ish). I left my house last year at 10am and managed to get to the circuit just in time to see the F1 demo at 12.30pm!!!!!!! 2and half hours sitting in hot traffic jam.... so

Other Games I think GTR2 had animated pit crews too. (not played that for a long time so can't remember) Graphics wise I don't think it really matters, my pc is quite good so runs most games (inc rF) flat out but friends of mine play on much lesser equipment and play still, infact one friend has it running on his 3 year old laptop. Doesn't look amazing but still works well. I'm not fussed

Other Games Agreed the AI is terrible in rFactor, I don't know about others here but I rarely race against the Ai. I normally just race online or test on my own. (testing very rare, rather just turn up an race)
