Well, maybe you could reduce the size of the .tex files or the lods files, if possible. I think you have to find a compromise between quality and frame-rate...It's not easy...Good luck!by Excalibur - Grand Prix 4
You also can do this by using Texresizer by Lo2k.by Excalibur - Grand Prix 4
Good news for all F1 fans but I tried GRID demo on my Xbox 360 and I was very disappointed because It's "too much" arcade game. Codemaster is one of my favorite developer and has a very good experience in race simulations (Toca series, Colin McRae etc...) but their last games (Colin McRae Dirt, GRID) were most oriented in arcade game handling... Thanks Mortal, I tried to roll back to an earlier driver but nothing has changed. I remember that I use to do 2 important things: Edit the graphic file but I don't remember what and disable a printer driver. I have looked into the faq for answers but I'ven't found anything for my problem...Thanks anyway.by Excalibur - Grand Prix 4
..And if you're running under Vista, don't forget to open it as the administrator (by clicking right button) and also in properties, use compatible mode with XP. Don't forget to authorize the .exe file under your firewall too.by Excalibur - Grand Prix 4

It's the first thing I did and I tried several things but nothing has changed. I also read Lo2k advices... everything was fine before I had to re-install Vista. Hello, I've got a big problem with the frame rate since I have re-installed Vista and the game. My PO increases to 120 % after a few laps. I'm playing with low-res cars and I set the frame rate in the game to 18. So, I did several things: -Stopped the driver of my printer (wich may occure problems with my graphic card for the game: Geforce 6100 nforce 405) -uptaded my graphic cardby Excalibur - Grand Prix 4
Hi! I've got troubles with graphics... I had to re-install Vista. When it was done, I launched GP4 and my PO rate was high (about 140% at the start of the race and between 73 to 105% after, during the race). So, I reduced the cars.wad file because and I play with low-res cars (because of my processor and graphic card)but nothing has changed. I use Vista so GP4 works fine.... 1-First of all, install a clean GP4 program ( as said above, you have to run this program in compatibility with windows XP) 2- Install the patch 9.6 3- install the no-cd patch 4- Install gpxpatch Finally, run the program with Gpxpatch... It should be ok ;o)by Excalibur - Grand Prix 4
The link works fine for me...But if the author of this car don't want to share it, so he has to say it or remove the link. I use another RA108 but I just wanted to see how the render was!by Excalibur - Grand Prix 4

I don't understand people who criticize a long free work wich is made for them by a team who has spent a long time working on it. They are working for free because they are passionately fond of GP4.We don't give them money for that! So please, stop it!!!
