You can get ( and see...of course ) Ai pit stops only if: 1) You set at 100% lenght the race 2) You assign as "default" set up for a track in a specific car class ( for example, F1 f2009 ) a setup including the right fuel quantity and the numbers of pits for that race 3) But...overall...You have to edit, first, Your PLR file is User data, opening it with Wordpad, changing to &quby nicol@cciarri - Other Games
Hello to everybody. Since R Factor Central is sometimes "lazy" on publishing updates, I want to offer this small "addon on" also here. This is an Update for the rFactor Mod F1 2009 proposed by F1RL Ligue ( actually, v. 2.0) Basically, You can get in rFactor F1 2009 Mod specific performances for cars and drivers, in order to get realistic laptimes and results. The basby nicol@cciarri - Other Games
Hello to everybody Thanks for comments and suggestions. Thanks to Craig, that I estimate, and I consider a good "web" friend. We will take in account suggestions....the only thing I can remark, however, is that above comparison picture is not affidable, since dimensions and probably perspective of real car ( on the right ) is crearly different ( bigger....) from the GP4 car. I knowby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Hello to everybody.....It was not my intention to post again on the Forum, without a real important motive, after I said publically "good bye" to this Community more than 1 year ago. But, if I can help Willward....here I am again. Ciao Nicolaby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
I can only say what all GP4 community has just realized: this game is still alive...is still funny, actual and overall, the best F1 simulator, thanks to the efforts of all update contributors, and the background work by Tony and GP4 Italia. Thank You. Nicolaby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Could be due to a "custom" track order on GPxpatch? I mean...Have You tracks in the original order? If not, maybe You can load only hotlaps from tracks in their original site ( Slot 2 sepang; Slot 4 Imola; Slot 5 barcelona; etc )by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Hello, my friends Sorry to open a new thread for not strictly GP4 things...but I'm sure You will be happy knowing that I clarified with Enzo our issue. Enzo asked me to say publically this because in this moment he is busy: we leaved us in friendly way. Maybe, Enzo will add something later...I don't know, but I only can say that now i feel better, and I wish anyway to Enzo the bestby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Hello, Friends You know I'm not used to open new therads only for short comments...or not pertinent things. But this time, please, let me leave here few words...peace words. I'm the first sorry what has been happened in these last 2 days...probably, a great fault for this could be given to me...I don't know, because I can't be a good judge of myself. I don't want continby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Dear Enzo I'm here, and not hidden..be sure. I replayed in my thread, but I was forgetting You are used to open a new thread for any new comment.... Anyway, as first thing I apologyze for words I spent in my threads...I'm angry, but I want to publically excuse for my words...not for my works. In a strange and morbous way, You have analyzed carefully my Ferrari: are You using always sby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
First of all, I want to excuse with Webmasters, and all people from this Forum for my words...i'm not usually so, and friends knowing me can confirm this. I want also offer publically my excuses, for words, to Enzo: it's right that this question had remain a private question....But, this was the drop that falled from a full water drink. I think Enzo searched some pretestous motive toby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Ah...Enzo: remember that the seat belts You are saying I kept from Your ferrari, are also on Matt Schroeder's Toro Rosso, and on Erik's Midland...We all used the same model.....Probably all people are copying from Your car!!!!by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Hello to everybody All people from this Forum know me, and my works. Although I rarely opened Threads on this Forum, this time I couldn't rest, since it has happened an unpleasent thing, with Enzojz. You also know perfectly Enzojz...and his modesty, specially when he presented his works.... I received , as "private message" by Enzojz, this one "I'm sorry but aftby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
When You add polys to an object, where normals are just set, You have to Select again all vertices, and then You have to reset normals on the whole new object, including new faces. This seems the problem from Your screen.by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Ah, yes, sure...If You mapped some faces, You need also to upload the mapped car. There are no problems, anyway. Good luck Nicolaby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Thank You, Enzo I think, anyway, no other versions will be available soon.. Regards nicolaby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Obviously, car doesn't need to be released again...but if You want to release a 2007 livery, feel free to do. Diego made "template" 248 pack just for this purpose..... Thanks Nicolaby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Maybe the problem is in the object order of the file ( gp4 file of car ). Try to extract the car from cars.wad, with textures. Using GP4 Builder, open the gp4 file, and, in Edit options, try to "sort object list". This could be enough, in some istances, to solve problems. In case You still got it, when You save the file in GP4 Builder, as gp4 file, You can then open it with Zmodelerby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
@ Sunil, as replay on page 4 of this thread: Monza version is ready, as lod 0. I need some time to make lower lods, while Diego updates main texture for some particulars. Thanks nicolaby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Making good, realistic performances is not so easy....It's not a "few minutes" work, if one wants some real game improvement. But, if You want just something allowing You to beat, or to "fight" in a better way with...., CPU drivers, just try to reduce Perf values on perf text. This is the easiest, and the most quick way. I don't suggest to manipulate physics values,by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
When suggestions are addressed to change Physics file, or performances files....I think it's better to change all Performances...'cos basically this problem is due to uncorrect, or not realistic perf seting. With all respect for Mariano..... Furthermore, set ups for any performances set are not alwyas suitable for others, just because performances are based on physics values inside thby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
If I can say something about this argument...The first thing is to be confidential with a 3D editor, like Zmodeler, or ( more difficult ) with 3d Max. With this latter You can also make directly ( there is an option ) lower lods, although You then have to manage again normals...and then You have to export files for Zmodeler, and GP4. Anyway, briefly and in a simply way: starting from a lod 0, inby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Thank You, again, Enzojz, and thanks so much, Mismi, for Your nice add on. Best Regards Nicolaby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Dear Enzo: eveytime we release a work, I think we always are sure to have done the best as possible....and therefore, we always think our own works are the best. I think that this is natural...But I don't care if somenone says " I prefer this car, instead of another.."...This is a matter of choice, or taste...The important thing, in my opinion, is always the respect that people frby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Thanks again to all for kind words and compliments...I'm really confused. Special thanks to some friends who tested car, or made such beautiful screens, and renders...Thank You very much. Yes, lower lods will be adeguate...and they are ready. Remember, anyway, that a lot of impact on PC performances may depende from textures, and graphic setting. Tahnk You to all people on this thread for their kind words on Ferrari: this work should be...nothing without help pf Diego, and suggestions of a lot of friends, like Matt, Erik, and others. Thanks again, mates.by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
@ Sonix: dear mate..reading your problem, I think You can fix, or improve your race results, changing a little your perf file texts. Particularly, You have to decrease the laptime gap ( perf value, for race...or also in qualify, if the problem is there too ) between drivers. Therefore: try to increase skill driver values, starting from the end ( last drivers on grid..that is the same to say, theby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Thank You, Enzo. I hope people will like also model, and not only screenshots, since, like You can well understand, these cars require a long and careful work....also for painter, not only for shaper.by nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Regarding proportions, eveyone can say his opinion, of course. But, model was done with real proportions scaled, considering also a 1:18 model I got. I can say that all particulars and parts of the car have been carefully checked. The airbox is like it is in the real car....I also used as backround photos in Zmodeler photographs of Ferrari from side, top, and front ( rear ). I can assure, thereby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
Yes, Kari. For me its's Ok, since this car is definitive, as model, and only lower lods are missing. Thank again. Nicolaby nicol@cciarri - Grand Prix 4
