how can i fix this? this happened when i added polygons.

Dunno, but shaping on an low res wide-stretched picture isn't good for the accuracy of your shape i am afraid ;)

It doesn't look like you have all the points linked up. To make a decent shape, you need to have all the points linked.

If you want to mail me the zmod shape (intweb@gmail.com) I'll show you what I mean.

Zmodeller is great fun to use and once you understand its little foibles, you can model great shapes with it.

When You add polys to an object, where normals are just set, You have to Select again all vertices, and then You have to reset normals on the whole new object, including new faces.
This seems the problem from Your screen.

the dark bits are the normals :P u have to calculate them to change them white like the first polys u made :)

thanks guys, i just went to options, normals then automatic update. i read this in the vincente marti tutorial a long time ago which i still remember.
