fairly predictable i suppose, but interesting that they've gone for him this quickly. thought they may leave it a month or 2 as they seemed to be talking up their chances of landing alonso. maybe this opens the door for bruno to take his place.by marwood82 - F1
for the last few series its usually been ben collins. (especially when it involves racing) he drove as the stig in the 24hr race they did, he randomly turns up on top gear features, and was listed on Hammonds accident investigation report as being a consultant/test driver but as dave ellis says, it changes quite a bit. when they get an expensive or rare car to put round the track. its ofby marwood82 - F1

listening to a spokesman for donington (though he did seem to get a bit mixed up between coppice and mcleans) it sounds like there is going to be a 200mph straight running from coppice to the melbourne hairpin.(so effectivly just removing the esses which is ironically rather similar to the 1930's layout) then out of the melbourne hairpin, rather than turing left at goddards, it will thenby marwood82 - F1

the more i think about it the more struggling to see how they're going to do it. I know they've just done a load of work to the pit and paddock area but i still doubt its big enough. and with imporving the track and track side facilities, i don't see how theres enough room. theres the airport to one side, melborne village on the other and the river trent and the woods abovby marwood82 - F1

wow. really just thought it was all paper talk to get the BRDC to get their act together. didn't actually think it would happen. I've been to donington countless times, until a couple of years ago it was my local circuit. I went to the 93 european GP, and when i was there and even today when i see clips from it, it seems weird seeing an F1 race there. For me its a very much a natiby marwood82 - F1

not wanting to pick fault with your economics mate, but take a look here, T10 tickets, still avaliable and priced at £340 (410 euros). so i can only assume these must be diamond encrusted and gold plated postcards as i can't think of any other reason why they would cost 3 times the going rate of the race ticket you're "giving away for free" ? you're right about monaco, went for the weekend about 3 years ago. reckon it was about 2 weeks before the race. pretty much all the barriers and grandstands were up by then. got some nice pics of the track, and got to stand on the podium! well worth a visit. dunno about you but it found it really quite strange wandering around somewhere you've seen on the tv so many times, especiallby marwood82 - F1
