F1 Question.
We've recently learned how terrible the sensor's appear to be.
Why only now has Horner bought the issue up like this? If they felt the need to use their own method, then they had a justifiable claim to turn around, talk to the other teams and say we need a new way of defining the fuel flow rate.

F1 The race was OK, the sound was acceptable. I'll learn to like it.
What was not acceptable was the team's (other than Bottas!) obvious resistance to racing which I attribute to the flow flow limit.
I understand why they have the fuel flow limit, but please the FIA need to get rid of it. The car's already have a limited fuel amount, leave it at that for now please. It was pain

F1 This will certainly be a huge loss for Button this year. Throughout 2009 his dad was his rock and was the one who kept him mentally in check. Brazil 2009 qualifying was one of them moments, it was his dad who was the one who sat him down, talked to him and guided him to what was his first championship.
Missing a single race from his F1 career shows how much it meant to him.
RIP to a real r

F1 Good point Jim.
Sebastian has been SO good in the last few years that for the most part he has coasted to a lot of victories whilst his team have been franticly telling him to slow and bring the car home. If he wasn't half as good as he was on Saturday (and race starts) and started a couple places further down and had to race hard for 100% of the laps then I reckon he would have the same

F1 So who else think's these cars are actually pretty cool?
I love that for the most part the nose designs are all quite different. I love how the Mercedes looks, I love the Ferrari, I love the Mclaren, I LOVE LOVE the Williams, well I quite like them all actually, even the Caterham!
Shame about Renault's problems. I think we all expected Mercedes (the team) to be strong this year b

F1 For me, Perez to Ferrari.
Kimi to Mclaren
Alonso to RedBull
Hulk to lead Ferrari
Bianchi to Lotus.
Will never, ever, ever happen.
Ferrari seriously need to get Hulk in though! Get him alongside Alonso learning of the best. Then when Alonso calls it quits, get Bianchi in the car.

F1 Nico surely one of the best drivers so far this year. It puts Schumachers return in a much better light too!
I honestly believed, based on the last two years Nico was not as good as I thought, and was perhaps a level below even Button, let alone Lewis.
This year however has proved Nico can step up when he needs to. Anyone who can make Lewis look... slow has something special. I always hoped

F1 Good drive Paul!! Shut those doubters I hope.
Good race by Checo! Jenson forgetting he is in a motor race. Needed to shh moaning because his team mate was quicker!
Only watched timing and radio. Will watch highlights later. Couldnt use my skygo, limited internet.

F1 Difference is, Hamilton killed Button in qualifying, but Button looked like he matched Lewis on Sunday. Perez, so far hasn't.
In all honesty, being out qualified by these margins by Button is not good. Button is not a Saturday person.

F1 Am I being stupid here? I've got an idea about how to fix these fuel problems.
Simple. Static load displacement for the ride height and zero fuel weight.
You know how much the suspension will deflect with zero-fuel weight. Add the fuel, look at the deflection and use that as a basis to judge your fuel load? Use it as a verification that the correct amount has gone in.
Take Mercedes,

F1 Lazenby needs to be removed, quickly.
What was the incident with Herbert and Horner? Where Lazenby almost had to restrain Herbert from talking?

F1 Oh, and Button was awesome :D!!!
Surely he would have challenged the mercs. Whether he beat them or not is another matter but that is progress!
And Jules Bianchi? What an awesome driver!!

F1 Here it is.
I never respected Rubens for giving in to Ferrari at points, so with regards to Vettel overtaking Webber (and ONLY that part!) then fair play Vettel. IMO he was never given a real chance at victory anyway. I felt RBR were so caught up in tyre scares that whoever lead from even the first stop would win. Webber got the jump thanks to Vettels 1 lap too early stop and from then on Vett

F1 race..
Kimi v's Lewis v's Alonso.
I LOVE that Kimi has a competitive car, it has added SO much.
Also, only Q1, but once again Sutil... The guy is a role model for people taking their chances, what a driver!
Hulk's decision to move to Sauber, though looked good last year is looking rather unfortunate now, and early days but Ferrari must be considering both him, and Bia

F1 All I hope is for is improvement by Williams and Mclaren.
Mclarens development seems aggressive already, bringing planned and aggressive updates? I am liking this.
As for Williams, I hope the 'step-back' gives them the step forward they need!

F1 Suzi Perry had a good start IMO. She has big boots to fill, and as mentioned she IMO is already better than Simon.
I think when Eddie is back there might be some more flow.
Also, howcome SSF1 do not show the full race online like iPlayer when BBC show the race?

F1 Sutil's race only being slightly quicker than Pauls is a non-topic.
He lead the race for a fine period. The guy is quick and although I would have preferred another guy in the car, FI certainly made the right decision. He's talked about making the most of the chance, and I have no reason to doubt he will.
Paul is going to have to step up, big time.
I am a huge fan of Paul, I li

F1 Williams awful and Mclaren awful.
I've got so used to seeing Button up there it was painful to watch. Likewise Williams were terrible. After a fair amount of promise I expected a lot this year.
I hope both teams can fix their issues soon. Malaysia will give us a clear picture of the order though.
Only good thing today was Kimi won and not Alonso or Vettel! Likewise I saw some sati

F1 testing is amazingly boring. perhaps halfway down the straight nico was half asleep, arrived at t1 and only then remembered to downshift?
Anyway, I've never gone into a season with so much unknown! Will be crazy and Im just annoyed I am missing it!

F1 Mercedes in 2011 reminded me of Honda in 2006 (at the start!).
Mercedes, at the start were pretty competitive, I think the drivers again didn't get the most out of the car. The season then dipped mainly due a lack of understanding of the tyres, and aerodynamics. Basically what happened in 2006. Only difference is, in 2006 they fixed the issues.
Have they fixed them now? car looks bette

F1 Worked a night shift at Sainsbury's for 7 months. Only 3 night's a week but 10 hour shifts. I used to get the oddest feeling of being extremely tired at 7am (finish) yet got home into bed and nothing. It sometimes got to 12, midday before I would be able to sleep, and only then would I be woken up at the slightest disturbance and once again take time to sleep.
Im not going to offer
