It's actually one of my cockpit shapes, don't remember which one though. However vbc is correct about the visor/steering wheel. You'll also need to change the cockpit view point to get this lower view. Download my carshapes and you'll be able to find everything you need but visors/steerting wheel/cockpit textures.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
However, the basics can be done already. An update on sponsors and other details would take much less time than making it from scratch. Please don't take it as an offence, but if things are not perfect, have a try at it yourself... being perfeccionist only helps, at least that's what has happened to me.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
If someone is kind enough to post some good pictures, I might have a try at it.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
You have to enter the x y z numbers in order to edit vertices' positions. There is no other way. A hint: try to match the cockpit shape to the car shape you are making this cockpit for... You might need to edit the cockpit camera position with another editor, though. If this is any help, have in mind that 660mm = 1110 "points of distance". Good luck.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
Nikon Wrote: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > All I want to do is create a 0% chance of rain for a GP3 season. Unfortunately there won't be a 2006 perf pack and we dropped the Istanbul project.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
"Performance" is how much GRIP is available for a given car, which obviously affects its laptimes. See, we can interpret this number as a medley of all factors that limit the speed of the car around corners and under braking/accelerating: the driver, tyres, aero, chassi... so simple and so effective! Human player has 16384 "points" of grip, so it is fair to give the same amby SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
Thanks Jacki, Those are good news. I'm not modding this year, but I am willing to be back at full blast next year, and I hope you are going to continue with your high quality works. Sorry for the off-topic, but could you please send me a updated version of your F1 Rain Probabilities? I used to update it by myself, but I kind of got lost.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
Me and Calimbo have been working on it for severeal months. I must say that the layout, heights, kerbs and some more are just amazing. But then the project is stopped because we find it so hard to work with scenary, cc line, objects and advanced gpfx work... if someone is interested, just tell us!by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
ouch, people. You have motivated me. We should consider to form a team of modders for the 2007 season.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
I think that names, performances and everything else are loaded from the saved game file. Unless you hexedit it, I think you're able only to change graphics, (the jams's are loaded each time you load a circuit, I think).by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
V8 engines consume 80% of what the 2005 V10's used to do. So this is interesting for sure: Malasia: FIA estimated 2.8 kg of fuel / lap 2.8 * 2204.6226 = 6173 6173 is 78.14% of 7900, which is the number in the original MD file that represents fuel consumption per lap given in "pounds*1000" for a V10 engine - back in the early 2000's. Considering the technicby SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
Sure, we must consider rpm as well. But I'm just suggesting that we could change "fuel???", which is how much fuel equals to 1.0 lap/fuel in pounds, according to FIA's figures. Once we have set "fuel???" and rpm, we just need to edit fuel consumption 1 and 2 as you've explained.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3

@ St.Hubbins Indeed, I think it is pointless not to edit everything in order to get a nice simulation. But then the ammount of work is so big that you have to plan everything very carefully or you may end up with an unfinished perfpack... hehe. @ drafi5 I'm sorry, no perfpack this season. @ fuby Yeah, I tried my best at the time but it is not perfect. Feel free to editby SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
Sorry, the 2005 perfpack will remain unfinished. Setting both types to 55 means that you'll have the "55 compound" either you choose soft or hard tyres in game. I think this is better this way because cc cars are stuck to only one tyre type (as defined in the md) and because we would actually need two specific "tyre wear" numbers to make things fair if the human plby SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
Hi, You can choose different tyre compounds in the md file... range is 52 to 59, if I'm not mistaken. Each one of them has a grip level and a wear rate. Make some auto-races to see how each type works. This way you can get closer to the desired tyre performance. 53 ; hard tyre (THIS IS TYRETYPE 0) 52 ; soft tyre (THIS IS TYRETYPE 1) 100 ; >= 50 tyretype 1 else 0 (THIS IS THE TYRETby SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
That's correct, Dada. The track is getting REALLY good, but progress is slow because we are still begginers in TE. For now we have done the layout, heights, widths, fences' position, kerb's position and shapes, all tarmac runoffs and pit's layout and fences. Everybody is welcome to help, just contact us.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
It is because of the dynamic sky textures. When rain chance is set to 0%, the sky texture is fixed and PO gets lower.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
If you want I can try to make the shape. I already have some basic info about the car's measurements... pictures of the side/top/front/rear views are welcome.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3

It is not possible to map the "logos" via GP3edit because of their size. It is ok for small numbers, but there is no space to put a second sidepod.by SuperSonic - Grand Prix 3
