I want to make my own cockpit shape... BUT HOW?

Hi
How is it possible to make cockpit shapes which can be viewed from the cockpit camera?
What software do I need and finally, the most important thing: what is the step-by-step instruction to do it?

You should need the carshape editor 3.7. if i remember the procedure:
-Import the carshape with all its parts from Gp3 (green button with red arrow)
-Disable the viewing of the car shape, the wheels, the steering wheel (maybe the camera too) and leave the cockpit visible
-double click on the vertex you want to edit and insert your values
-save frequently
-export to gp3 all the parts (green button with blue arrow)(always click yes to the messages)

or do you mean editing the steering wheel with leds and dysplay?

One tiny question: Is it possible to edit cockpit shapes by drag and drop? or I HAVE TO edit the parameters you mentioned making a drudgery work of writing numbers with my keyboard?

You have to enter the x y z numbers in order to edit vertices' positions. There is no other way. A hint: try to match the cockpit shape to the car shape you are making this cockpit for... You might need to edit the cockpit camera position with another editor, though.

If this is any help, have in mind that 660mm = 1110 "points of distance".
