A1GP project

This weekend A1GP will start at Brands Hatch and the series will end April 2 2006 at
Shanghai, there are 11 rounds, as Dubai, Sydney and Sentul are not available, they could be replaced by Bahrain, Melbourne (Adelaide) and Suzuka.
I could make teamart, someone makes the cars ??? The cars are in the nations flag
colours, each country has maximum 4 drivers in the season, so for Germany: Timo
Scheider, Portugal: Pedro Lamy, Netherlands: Jos Verstappen and so on.
Is anybody interested in this project ?!

What Countries you will choose?

For me, we can make the 25 cars.
We can use 3 sets. I think that could be a possibillity.

For what i saw in the official site the major part of the countries will use more than one driver, so we could use two drivers by country.

I don't know if drafi5 agrees with me, but we can discuss that and i'm sure we can find a good solution very soon...

Okay, Paulo, we can do 2-3 carsets, I don´t know if I will get all driver pictures,
but I will try, some countries have only confirmed one driver, so we will choose
the second one.

you can make one carset with the most historic countries in motorsport and other with the expressionless countries.

Yes, we could do only 2 carsets and leave 3 coutries out.

Still, nothing decided yet...

Suggestion:

2 complete carset with 11 teams...

one carset with the last three places on gp3 edit occupped.

Here what drafi5 and i are planning:

What if we made only a single carset with one driver by country?
We could make like BAR did in 1999 with half of the car with one country and the other half with another one. Like a car with Germany/Portugal or France/Italy...

This way we could play with 22 countries at the same time (We drop out Lebanon, Pakistan & Indonesia) and we only have to choose the drivers (Probablly the ones who will race at Brands Hatch).

If you are making the effort to paint all the half cars why don't you make all the cars (entire car) possible? Create 1 or 2 suggested carsets with performance and a drivers list for every team and let the users decide anyway which cars install? A complete car is better than two half cars IMO... In Gp3 2k is also possible to install 22 single liveries

this is an excellent idea. If a carshape could be made also it would be brilliant as its a very distinct shape.Not sure if i like the design of the cars or not yet

If you want I can try to make the shape. I already have some basic info about the car's measurements... pictures of the side/top/front/rear views are welcome.

I am looking to set up a league like the A1GP... would you guys be interested?

I made the Team Australia Launch Car. It has changed for the season, but it might be some use.


Not quite exact, missing logos off the rear end plates, and has my name on the bargeboards, also, it's made on the default gp3 car shape.

I already made the Australian car (90%...) that race in Brands Hatch, it is very different from the Launch Car. But, anyway, you did a good job!
