Richie Hearn has a new helmet, replacing the bad one we had in Prologue.

I really like those hands there... on the mirrors is that just a temporary thing or a track thing or a graphical glitch? I know some tracks have weird mirror effects and stretching.

Thats a good a point. The Prolgoue ran amazingly well on my ancient machine, and amazingly well with good settings! Will the full mod follow like this? Will it be DX7 compatible?

Depends what you meant by run well. If you run a car on it's own, it'll be the same performance as Prologue. If you run 6 cars (the number that was in Prolouge) then it'll run better, because the LODs are better now than they were before. But a full grid of cars is 29. That's quite a lot more than Prologue, so a full grid will run worse.

It works with DX7 and comes with optional low res bump maps to help performance.

Robby Gordons late season livery done.

I often used a grid of 20cars just to have more and it ran pretty well still!! Thats good news then :)!

Good news about the LODs, Dave - it's nice to know that mod teams do sometimes think about those of us without bleeding-edge rigs :)

Are there any tweaks coming to physics and other stuff, or is it just adding the remaining teams and drivers?

And was that a one-race livery or some sort of marketing deal to celebrate however many years Woody has? Either way I may drive as him occasionally as I was a Woody Woodpecker fan ;).

There have been physics updates. Mainly to the tyres.

The Woody livery was part of the Universal Studios livery set that Hogan ran. They had a couple of liveries, but there are no photos of them, only low quality VHS tapes from 1998. We weren't going to do special liveries, but these were easy to throw together, so consider them a bonus. The light blue version ran at least twice. The dark blue version ran at least once. Universal liveries were run in two other races, and the normal livery ran in all the rest. As far as I know.

Is CART Factor being sponsored by big companies because I saw the sponsor page on the website and I was wondering if all these rFactor mods are big projects backed by big companies and what not.

Do you mean the list of partners on our website? [racinglinedevelopments.com] Those are just people we have worked with on various projects before CART Factor. They aren't involved with CART Factor in any way.

A list of people who contributed to CART Factor can be found in the readme -

No, just like F1C you can have a variety of shapes.
