A big word of thanks to Dave, Nick and the rest of the RLD crew for this fine piece of work.
I know I speak for just about everyone, in saying that your immaculate attention to detail & quality is greatly appreciated. Truly worth the wait.

Thanks guys! Rot, are you running the HDR Plugin?

Err, are vids allowed? If so....

Just watch this.

That was certainly a hairy start to the race :) I just love that mod... So much fun.

Endurance Series by Enduracers. Really good for mixed grid racing, just DONT try and drive the Creation. You will fail. Hard.

So guess what- I tried to drive the Creation. Still not a clue on it (Got it to the point where I could drive it, but was so slow it seemed, wasnt even worth it)

I find that the main problem is ... downforce is missing :P

Main problem is the tyres, again, lol. Same style as the Renault Meganes, with silly slip curves (that's what happens when Julien Vidot does the physics). All of the tyres are the same too, which just isn't right.

Unfortunately the help that Niles and RLD provided after the Epsilon release has been completely discarded in favour of Juilens "expert" physics setup.

But.... How do you throw away basically something good for a mod by the same people featuring the same types of cars? DOH!

Well, that and the fact that all the tires are the same- You would think that different brands of tires would have different charactaristics... but, nope.

I just love the fact that their complaining about people NOT using TC.

Not just brands, but class. P1/P2/GT1/GT2 don't have all the same tyres.

If they made a successful mod, that's cool. Credit to them for that. But it's the same reason I don't play rFactor anymore. Quality just isn't high enough.

Errrrr? Que?

So you worked on a (I presume) a kickass mod, and don't play it?

I brought that up on RSC, Kinda funny. I got one of their guys (Enduracer's) supporting me, while the other guys are flipping out.... I'm sorry your tires are goofy.

I hate translators.

So is Enduracer's mod better than Serie Internationale Du Mans?

Miles. Even with the somewhat odd tires - look on the brightside, if you can run a P1 sans TC, your gonna improve your driving ability.

I would TOTALLY sig that at RSC, but I just know that they would flip like none other. They should just open up and admit it rather than say "Use TC" and "We have more laps, therefore, your wrong."

I played with the tires though, swapping out other mods slip curves (Im not a physics guru or any thing) but, the Epsilon's (From the standalone mod) brought the Creation to life - night and day difference. Rather than dread the twisties, it was fun.

Then (Please dont go cave man Dave!) I popped in the curves from the CART Factor mod, and again, raised the bar. Rather than have that spin from no where or knife edge feeling, it felt as if you had 600+ HP on tap, but when it got sideways you could recover it. Very solid and perdictable (A Tad to much grip for this application though IMO. But again, I'm no expert), as one would expect an endurance tire to be.

While I realize that using that curve exactly would be an issue (given the fact that it isn't theirs! Duh!), I just wonder why they didnt use the Epsilon's tires to begin with- as that is (I would think) theirs. You already have Michelin LMP1 tires, why not use them?

I think the best option (While not neccessarily the realistic one) would be a slight drop off at the end of the curve, but still pretty flat across the board.

Post that about the slip curves tests and maybe they'll get enough pressure from forumers to use the Epsilon one. But again, they're French so bonne chance (good luck) ;).

Just shout: POULETS! They hate being called chicken :P
