Maverick team radio

Engineer: How's the pace?
Maverick: Really good. I'm P13, ain't I?

Engineer: Yes. Only one more position to the points. You're doing a really great job there, John! Just stay out of trouble and bring home a point or two!
Maverick: And you make sure that the pitstop isn't that spoiled again. It's really close here, so every second counts!

Race Day - Part Two

Welcome back after 26,793 adverts! The race was suspended due to pokemons escaping from the local toy store and wreaking havoc at the circuit!

Pedersen is still lapping very quickly, setting another fastest lap.

Aleksander, having made his stop, is being held up by Johnson.

Silvestre goes for the inside line against Hinz.

Takes the place

Warrington now leading.

Previous leader Jalving currently in 3rd.

Aleksander finally released as Johnson pits.

20 laps to go.

Warrington still leads into another lap, looks like another one stopper for the Englishman.

Bit of a mix-up here with Greidanus trying to break free of this TNR sandwich.

I'm not entirely sure that was a fair way of doing it though.

Warrington finally pits at half distance, not another penalty!

Karjalainen up to 3rd position.

Greidanus sets fastest lap again after getting by Horváth.

Warrington now down to 5th.

Silvestre has got that corner all wrong and spins in the kitty litter.

Vilela ducks out of Worseling's slip stream and passes.

Karjalainen chipping away at Elleker.

Johnson gets a little wide but survives.

15 laps to go.

Horváth now in 21st after his tangle with Greidanus.

Speak of the devil! Greidanus chases down fellow Dutchman Worseling.

Hunsley gets it slightly wrong at the last chicane.

He loses out to Greidanus who has just passed Worseling. Busy man!

Getting closer, but does Karjalainen have enough laps?

Second round of pit stops have begun.

Stay tuned folks!

Is that me or just my guys tend to spin off track and rejoin into last place?

My GPGSL Career
So far so good, 2/3rd of the race is done! I still wonder about the close finish? 12 more rounds and 1 pitstop, fingers crossed!!

Great, again back from 13th to 16th. Why do I always lose so many places at the pitstops? This starts to get annoying.

Something needs to be done about this 1 stopping. It's always me :( 3rd to 5th in the stops isn't good.

Yeah seems particularly bad this season

I know that glitches like this have occured before but I don't ever remember it happening race after race :/

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
hopefully i can still make it on the podium.

GPGSL career;
Current team: Team ShadowSubaru, Previous teams: MPR, Minardi
starts:100 Wins: 12, Podiums: 34, Fastest Laps: 14, poles: 12 Points: 708
winner of Belgian GP (s1), Australian GP (s1), Canadian GP (S1), Brazilian GP(s4, s5), Hungarian GP(s3), Italian GP(s3), French GP (s5,s7), Monaco GP (s4) and USA GP
this is because, the tyre/fuel rate is very unrealistic in GP4. If you stop earlier, you get advantage because with the fresh tyres, you are lot faster (in formula 1 - this is the normal since 2010, with no refuelling). But until 2009, it was like you have advantage if you stop later.
When I Play GP4 i usually set very low rate in Magic data - AI Race Performance (if you set it about 800-900, the picture of the race would be more realistic). but the default setting in the tracks are usually around 3-4000

Race Day - Part Three

You rejoin us here at Suzuka following a much shorter commercial break.

Lets get back to the action.
Worseling seems to be going backwards! This time its Sheppard.

Elleker still hanging on to 2nd.

10 laps to go and we are in the middle of the seconds stops.

Greidanus is a very busy boy today, here he is chasing Cartwright.

Warrington leads again.

Jalving now 3rd, but is that Elleker in 2nd?

No, it's Pedersen having not stopped yet.

Greidanus sets yet another fastest lap.

Jalving in 2nd, chasing down Warrington.

Jalving takes fastest lap this time as Greidanus fails to pass Vilela.

Somogyi overtakes Thomas for 15th.

Silvestre finds some speed that just didn't seem to be there before.

Greidanus tries again on Vilela.

Deja-vu as he fails again and Jalving sets fastest lap once more.

Pedersen beats Jalving's time.

Jalving is catching Warrington hand over fist, but AMR driver must be destined to receive a penalty.

Ruben just can't find a way past.

Jalving has a Aston Martin in his sights.

5 laps to go.

The battle at the front. Jalving must feel quite comfortable, if Warrington stops , he wins. If he doesn't, he gets a penalty and Jalving wins again.

However, if he misjudges a passing attempt it could be a trip to the kitty litter.

He thinks better of it.

Kittleson has a big moment.

Back on track.

Warrington still leading.

Greenhalgh has somehow managed to score a point.

Jalving has to take a risk and get by Warrington, or he could be in danger of losing out to Elleker who has crept up behind.

First three together.

This is getting really close!

Warrington has pulled away slightly, but for how long for? And can Jalving keep Elleker at bay?

Jalving defending against Elleker.

Last lap!

Oh that is close! They nearly touch!

Jalving tries again.

Nothing doing as Warrington steadfastly refuses to budge.

Elleker has dropped off a little as Jalving gets side by side with Warrington.

Again John slams the door shut.

Here we go again, he really doesn't need to do this, it looks as though Elleker has settled for 3rd/2nd.

Warrington wins the Japanese Grand Prix, but surely he will get a penalty!

Warrington 1st.

Jalving 2nd.

Elleker 3rd.

Karjalainen 4th.

Stay tuned for the official results.
