GPGSL S7 [SEASON COMPLETED!!!] Rule Changes Announced For S8.

Middle of the grid... could get some points from there, but was hoping for a higher start after losing out on points last round.

Well that's a mixed bag for qualifying but big congrats to Gary! This bodes well for the main qualifying and race. Hopefully Gary can out and win the testers race.

Mixed feeling about the feature race.. Dan in last place, what happened there? And a strong qualifying for Mertz in 5th!

Whohooo...world turned upside down there. With all these boosts it was clear that we could struggle. Yet Josh showed an impressive performance in the qualifying...suddenly. And then in contrast Dan who has dominated the season so far and is suddenly last. Well, that promises an interesting race.

Just a quick question, is it still the car of shame in force for True North?

Also, if no-one minds the coverage taking a little longer than normal, I'll be happy to do Montreal :)

not a bad feature qualify for me and Juliano:-)

My GPGSL Career
Wow, 17th isn't the best place, but still I can only improve from this position :)
I'm gonna be so pissed if it's a 3rd pointless round on the trot...

Cheers boss! That's one hell of a car underneath me, it just felt hooked up from the moment I first left the garage. Hopefully I can bring home some big points as a reward for all the guys' hard work!

2nd and 9th ! i really love these Motori Moderni engines that were developed by Scala Engineering and VanSmirren Inc. Lets kick some ass and get some points on the table finally !

Really Christian, great job !

Good job, Toby!
Seems that our drivers/team boost strategy is working here, hopefully it works for me as well in main qualy/race.

Way to go, boss! And I finally found some good balance to put much needed strong performance in qualifying. Let's hope to carry this level of performance to the race..

Feature Race

So here we are in the land of the rising sun, kimono's, samurai's and geisha girls. Surprisingly we have yet another feature race for the testers. Even more surprising is the cars of shame have disappeared, TNR have had to dust off last season's car.

The drivers are lined up on the grid, with series leader Dan Paddock bringing up the rear.

Pole sitter Kederer gets off to an excellent start.

A real mix up on the grid, nine different cars in the first nine places.

Woah! van Smirren assaults fellow dutchman de Boer!

Car intact, but de Boer is instantly dumped down into last place.

Kederer completes the first lap and his expected fastest lap doesn't last very long as Gary Spencer blitzes the opening lap.

Dan Mills in the updated s6 TNR.

Kederer goes fastest as he pulls away from Spencer.

Positions after 2 laps.

Stokel takes the scenic route.

Replays show he forced wide by Stoddart.

He rejoins in 18th.

The field is now getting strung out.

Kederer goes faster still.

van Smirren runs slightly wide.

Legge and Davies close up behind as a result.

Kederer really getting the hammer down as he locks his brakes.

Stokel rally crossing again.

Davies making a passing attempt on Legge.

Fails.

5 laps complete.

Gilson can't quite make it past Dux.

Kederer at the pointy end.

de Boer at the blunt end.

Stoddart now in a fight with his team mate Rangelov.

Hope this isn't going to be a Prost/Senna momment.

No, they are fine.

5 laps to go.

Gilson pressing Scala.

Stoddart makes it past Rangelov.

Spencer in a lonely race in 2nd place.

Muller pulls out from behind Dux as Test Champion Ingers looks forward to another non-points scoring weekend unless the two in front tangle.

No such luck!

The battle for the wooden spoon rages on.

Stoddart now challenging TSS boss Pellatt.

Up front and Shadow's Kederer starts his last lap.

Feature race won by Tobias Kederer, Team Shadow Subaru.

Stay tuned for official results.

8th place, not bad, some more points so I'm happy with that. Same pace as Maikel as well, so a good race for me :-).
