Portugal statement

The Portuguese team is happy to announce that will compete in Season 3 of the GPG Nations Cup, after some good races in the last rounds.
The driver will remain Paulo Silva.

The team doesn't know if there will be any change in the car design since our main sponsor haven't confirm his interest for the next season.

I am going to post the perfs and run the round today. I saw people start speculating about the future and next season rules. The main reason i did that last year on the car shape is because personally i thought it was a tad ugly. If there is a desire for change every season by you all we can incorporate it. If that is the case i had a dream last night and it was pretty much this car i was thinking about. I have no idea why i was dreaming about the nations cup but follow the link

Side note:
-France requested 600 for the race and 550 for quali, as the max is 500 for each session, these were scaled down accordingly
-San Marino requested 510 overall boost, so i split this down the middle for qualifying and the race

15 out of 22 used boost for this race... Mine is going to end up just lost in the midst :/

I agree, very interesting! But which sidepod version? The black/red or the tricolore?

Really the new Dallara Indycar shape? IMO these shapes only look good on ovals. But well, if Maikel makes the shape, there'd be a good mapping, at least.


GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)

Welcome to Canada. Three rounds left of the nations cup and this is when everything really starts to hot up! Alpenstrom had some of his lead taken away from him although the three chasers are squabbling for the right to lead that chase. First its time for qualifying though and the sun is out today so we have a dry qualifying



It will be Hunsley to set the first time of the day



He is followed by Marinescu a little off that marker



Vilela and Silva go very close to Hunsley but not quite enough





Antunis goes a shade to the other side taking provisional pole



Tafuro goes much quicker and then Maverick goes even quicker still as we start to see some real times





McGregor comes in behind both



Alpenstrom how many times goes quickest currently



With contender De Boer managing 4th currently



6th for Vukcevic



Silvestre is a half second back but is good for 8th currently



As the last man over standings with the first run completed







With everyone out for a second run there is a pattern of no one improving their times









Kederer puts a stop to that after a poor first run to go 10th



Copeman follows suit going 6th



Johnson is languishing like he has all season to 19th



Brilley also struggling as he has all season as well



Silva makes improvements but is leading the second half of the field



Kederer improves again and almost takes pole from Alpenstrom



Maverick held up by traffic



Hunsley joins all the others under a second but still back towards the rear



Just over a half second finds you 12th



Just under finds you 9th



De Boer improves needing to keep himself within fighting distance of Alpenstrom for the race



Standings as we pass half way







More drivers going faster as Jantsher makes the top ten as Marinescu gets out of last place





Johnson cannot even get under a second back from Alpenstroms time



Silvestre comes out trying to sneak a last lap in but is not going to be able to get around in time



So here are the official standings and Alpenstrom adds to his championship lead with contender Kederer right on his toes as both men were out of touch of the rest of the tightly packed field

Bleurgh 8th, thats not what i wanted from max boost at all, need to gain some good places in the race.

Well, the qualifying pace has never been that much of a problem when we used boost. With the max boost, 3rd is satisfying so far. I just sincerely hope that we'll have one clean race, at least.
