Yeah, i noticed that.

The values of angles for corners are different in gp3, but is there a way to calculate the value in gp3 to a value in gp4?

For example; in gp3 has a 90 degrees turn a value of 1052, how do you calculate the value for gp4? So you get an exact copy of the turn in gp4.

i have no idea how a gp3's dat is made, but you can always take a screesnshot of the layout, and use it as a base to model the new dat ;)

I need some help with my Phoenix track. I have a problem at the s/f line.
The cars jitter when they pass the start line. This only happens at the start of a race. I think it has something to do with the initial sector's properties but I can't find what it is. Any help is appreciated.

I'll have a look at it.
I think Surfers Paradise has got the same problem at race start.

I have other problems:
the cc cars go always zig-zag
in the right side of the s/f line there is an invisible wall that across the track (it's a little bump if I open a fence gate)

ps
how can I create a tunnel in which it doesn't rain? :D

You can't create a tunnel with no rain. Unfortunately i believe it's .bin related and I have tested it already. In changing the vertex colours to red (check the monaco tunnel) there should be no rain, instead the tarmac disappeared across the entire track, so I don't think it's possible at the moment

Is it possible to have a trackside camera that doesn't move at all?

the small issue with the juddering on s/f line in relation to surfers paradise is down to 3d editor 17.6..l02k explained this to zjokke about similar problem with adelaide.....

Well, you have a recently known problem. It is due to a wrong (in fact to a lack of) computation of some background settings for the initial track sector.
As I fixed it in my in progress 3deditor version, I send you back your .dat fixed. The only drawback is that you will need to rebuild the cc-line but it's not the hardest thing on Earth :)
...

this may or not be the same issue..but worth a mention....

invisible walls l02k knows of this issue also...

it's wonderful, a 300m tunnel with a lot of wather that drops from the ceiling :D:D

That means that it will be fixed for next version of 3DEditor?

@Erix:
Was the pitlane exit really so narrow and slow? And pay attention to the rail of the track. Seems that it can be an obstacle when getting out too fast.
