the pitlane has 132 sectors, and removing one has no effect :|
but anyway, for now i can live with it :)

Hello,

a small question. I know someone asked it before byt i tried a few things and it didn't worked out..

My bin file doesen't work how it should suposed to work. There's no tarmac at the last corners of my track. I tried to delete the last sector from my .dat file..I remember that this should solve the problem. I deleted the old bin files. I started with a new wad file..no result!

Any idea?

@Tume...i asked Lo2k this before as i was left with a similar problem which i couldn't find an answer to...here was his reply....

Be sure that the .bin and .gp4 track tarmac objects file are matching your latest .dat changes (same number of sectors) and be sure no original .gp4 track tarmac object is still in the .gp4 (there should be no duplicate track tarmac object in the whole track file).

Hope it helps......

@Lo2k:

Which flag conects the car to the pitlane? I mean that you really follow the pitlane sectors and not the track.
I have the problem that the cars turn very lately from the left side of the track to the right in order to go into the pits - that is not look smooth:(

@ruboy - i've sort of solved that by making the entrance earlier.

the only problem i have with entering pits is i get controlled a bit much. i guess its steering help? but also the speed drops then rises until the pit limiter comes on

@Ruboy: I assume it's the track "pits start" command.

@B-tone: do you mean you're racing with steering help enabled ? ;)
The speed could be lead by the layout of the pitlane and by the fact you have recomputed track pitch/cc pitch/cc dir or not.

it happens on default tracks - from memory the german ones are bad. and hungary?
but maybe its steering help :p
any idea how that is controlled?

Could someone explain what 'bump table' is and what function it has (in CMagic)?

from gp3 i remember it has a sector number and a bump value.
so you can easily add bumps. i don't know what the bumps are measured in though.

thanks jim ;-)

Does it mean I can create bumps like at Interlagos (physical aspect)?

btone,

do you remember you sent mr your nurburgring 2005 wip a while ago?
I was wondering if you have developed it anymore since as the new 1st sector was very sparse and lacked land outside the barriers, you could see through where the floor should be and the grandstands were non-exsistant;).

I applied my hires textures from my 04 nurb update which was never released to your 2005 beta and it looked pretty good. If you havnt donee anymore to it since you sent it to me are you planning to finnish it off?.

Just wondering, I want a nice circuit to put these textures on so I can finnish my hires nurb textues;).

Thanks,

Wills.

That's a pretty daft question since all 3 threads we've had on this revolve around one program, and nearly every modder in the community has used it at some point ;)
