@Mini Maestro:

Nope, sorry.
If you have EDonkey or EMule: here's an ED2K link to an onboard lap with Kimi (2003 or 2004).

has someone noticed the new chicane after the hairpin?? ;) mmm could b this a new variant for this year gp? ;) or that was already there (i couldnt watch the last year's japanese gp)

also... is possible to find worldwide tracks & locations with google maps??? thx :)

Just note USA doesn't like F1 (since 1981)

Hungarian GP, 1997. Last laps just when damon's problems had just begun:
(Louise Goodman has just reported that Damon Hill was on the radio with Tom Walkinshaw)
Murray: "How do they do that, Martin? How does a man talk calmly and especially to his team boss, when Damon in the situation he's in?"
Martin: "Well, you press a little button on the steering wheel and start talking, Murray. There's a little speaker in the front of your crash helmet...";)
(excerpted from the "Brundle's Quote Central")

you're right, there's a chicane there, i don't know if it was already there, but i do hope F1 won't use it!!

with google maps you can find tracks, i've seen indianapolis and montreal (buenos aires too, but it's not a F1 track anymore :( )

I was just answering a question from somebody regartding tex/tga, and i was just wondering, we take aa lot of tga's, and rename them to tex, but for instance the crowd and their flags are still tga's, is it not possible, to just use tga's, and forget the whole tex story? Or is that not even possible? (seems to me it is, as the crowd is tg too) Are there any disadvantages to this? Or maybe even advntages? (it takes away the tga -> tex conversion at least)

that would be nice... but aren't tex's smaller in size than tga's????? that could be one point in favour to tex's

hm, you are right, not only are they smaller, they are much much smaller. Ok forget the question, it's no use, tex' are better :)

I don't know. I do believe which files are read as .tex and which are read as tga is hardcoded in the exe.
Anyhow, .tex format is far better for everyone because tex files are compressed .tga files (between 2 and 4 times), so you got some artifacts but it avoids huge slow downs as can be seen with latest high-res tracks (that hopefully use .tex files and not .tga).

beware
3DEditor has its final version: 14.4, but I won't be able to release it this night due to 2 major last minute bugs. So don't wait for it before tomorrow at least.

The chicane after the hairpin is only for the bikes, no worries :)

Nice, what i was also wondering, why is generating multiple sections in the pitlane still not working? Is it just something you've forgoten, or is there more than meets the eye?

@Lo2k:

I've noticed a bug in version 13.5b and I didn't see it mentioned in the changelog:
When you add multiple sectors and set End Height to Zero, the last sector is lower than all the others (altitude -1).
