Thanks for the screens Raulongo. Must have taken a while to upload them :). It feels good to see finally some cars on the track.

I saw that McLaren had problems with the tires this morning. Paffet was struggling getting the right temperature on hard tires, and was doing some "S" (as the drivers do before a race) in the main straight... I think track temperature was a bit cold for that kind of tires.

it's hard to say from times who is really fast because this winter tests are different than previous years. some tests with full fuel load and some may test with lighter fuel load, so we can't say anything from these times.Nico Rosberg said on interview that his seat was way too low so he almost couldnt see the track but that mercedes feels really good and he run with heavy fuel load all the time.

Barrichello's car is stacked in the middle of the track...

I think Sauber will be light to try and get some money.

At least the Mclaren is not 2 secs off the pace this year lol.

Crap track to test anyway tells you nothing about the car.

Yes, and it could explain Massa's results so far as well, as I'm sure Ferrari would like to dispel any rumours about a slow car.

As Rubens said, its gonna be difficult to read test times, and marcl, agreed, Valencia is too small and slow. Didnt the MP4-19A hold the lap record there? And we know what that car was like :p

I think only the STR and Williams of Rubens suffered mech issues today. Key thing now is just to get lap times. Anyone notice how quick Schumacher was upto speed?? Wasnt it within 8 laps he was as quick as Nico?

I can't help but notice Luca and Michael's names in the files!

This is probably where their information from previous years is.

Am I the only one who is astounded by the fact that Mercedes have got TWO cars ready for the first test of the season? :-o Fair play to them! Surely they'll be using both cars to gather different data though, so the times wouldn't be comparable?

They're used to get a more accurate measure of speed :)
