Probably not a massive surprise considering the predictions a few months ago, however Williams obviously seemed confident enough with them to choose them.

That would be great - 12 RB5s and the RB6 ;)

-massa was satisfied says that he feels they are going in the right direction
-willy rampf thinks ferrari have the most extreme diffusor
-koba focused after lunch trying varying fuel loads
-hamilton impressed everyone with constant lap times in 1:12s
-they suspect that kubica lap time was on low fuel
-rosberg was doing various long stints testing different fuel loads
-says that williams has lot of work to do, williams was working on fine tuning the gearbox and cosworth engine

interesting fat: the force applied to the roll hoop for strength testing is the same as placing a double decker buss FULL of people on top of the car!

I recommend following Clairevwilliams on twitter [twitter.com] she is one of Williams F1s communication officers and posts some interesting stuff on there including photos.

Williams were doing long run all day today according to her, so they're not too bothered about lap time, and they are also being extra careful with the new Cosworth engine and drivetrain, double checking pretty much everything constantly. I think we should give them the benefit of the doubt really, they have a lot more to get sorted than the rest of the teams that are currently there.

Not sure if its nepotism coming in to play, or a coincidence her surname is Williams, but up until 48 hrs ago she didnt even know how to post photos on the Williams twitter page, despite her having been on it sometime before just posting general twitterings

I don't think her surname is Williams, I think her name is Claire V, whatever the V stands for, and then Williams on the end for...Williams :P and tbh I don't even know how to post photos, cause I've never needed to or wanted to. Twitter is a new thing for Williams as its only just appeared on their main site recently.

just nipped out for some ciggies and missed both your posts, but for clarification ;-)

Williams now have a platform for showcasing a wealth of awesome content.

We are already receiving positive feedback from all of our various stakeholders, which was our main priority. Thanks to Rawnet, we’ve achieved our objectives and I’m looking forward to continuing our relationship into the future.

wow, I like the airbox on the Merc! A little like some of the cars of the late 80s/early 90s actually, but very cool.

Claire is Frank's daughter BTW, Peter Windsor interviewed her on TV here and made mention of it
