2013 - Nando must come through..
Yay! It was only fair he got another chance. He showed enough speed last year and was very unlucky at times. Besides if Piquet kept his seat it would have been a crime for STR to deny Seb!!

Hopefully he can show the other Seb the way on slicks ;-)!

"Trulli was slowing down like he wanted to have a picnic" LOL
Good to hear he's been confirmed, he deserved a second chance!
Yep thats great news! I hope he performs well this season.

good to see him getting a drive, but i can't see toro rosso getting above 7th this year, unless another team really bombs out.

I dunno... they started pretty late with the last years car and still ended up pwning RBR.

Although that probably won't happen this year, no in season testing, and vettel driving for RBR :P.
bah, thats bad news. both STR sebs wont show anything worth a F1 seat.

There gonna out perform your boyfriend Piquet.
Good news :) but as it was said, I don't think they gonna do what they did last year

iSport announced there drivers too. Neither of them are Senna.

Im glad Seabass is getting another crack of the whip. He deserves it. If Piquet deserves a Renault seat, then Bourdais should be in a Mclaren.....

They were waiting for him to decide, and he was waiting for Honda. In fact almost all the GP2 teams were waiting for Sennas move to decide their 2009 lineups. iSport was pressuring him for a decision and Senna was still pressuring the former Honda team for a decision about the future, so what really happened was that Senna had allowed iSport to look for other drivers rather than waiting for him. And so they did.

Senna himself admits that if the old Honda doesnt makes it in 2009, he may return to GP2 in another team. Where doesnt matter, all the cars are equal, and any team will gladly kick out their drivers to make room for him because no one in the current GP2 grid is better than him (and obviously because of his sponsors bringing bucketloads of money). The whole actual GP2 grid sucks, including Razia and Nunes.

well, good to see official confirmation at last.

GPGSL career;
Current team: Team ShadowSubaru, Previous teams: MPR, Minardi
starts:100 Wins: 12, Podiums: 34, Fastest Laps: 14, poles: 12 Points: 708
winner of Belgian GP (s1), Australian GP (s1), Canadian GP (S1), Brazilian GP(s4, s5), Hungarian GP(s3), Italian GP(s3), French GP (s5,s7), Monaco GP (s4) and USA GP
It'll be interesting to see how STR do. I think they've got two good drivers this year, but since they have to sell the team by 2010, there's hardly going to be a huge effort. Whatever about last season, Red Bull really can't be beaten by their junior team this year.
He did a good job last year, bar a few unlucky incidents he would have finished the season with more points. The appointment made sense, there's no point getting two new drivers, there needed to be some sort of continuity.

Let's hope he can improve on last year.

exactly - the car might be fine, but i very much doubt bourdais and buemi can beat vettel and webber.

webber should also perform better with a team-mate who challenges him much more than DC did last year

anyone know why they took off french language from their website if he were to be eventually confirmed?
